You know what imma switch this shit up, Lori (nyo! Iceland) X Leon (Hong Kong, duh)

------------------////Lori's pov////----------------

Our manor went silent after he delivered the news.
"You did WHAT?!"
I yelled, quickly getting to my feet and throwing my fisted hands to my sides. Mathias shrugged giving his usual lopsided grin and staring at me as he draped an arm around my sister, who had the same look on her face as usual, except now it was a little bit more, happy or one could say smug.
"As he said, we arranged a marriage for you, mostly because your past your first bleeding and not even glancing at men, were going to host a ball in your honour and that's when you'll meet him."
My sister, Nora, said evenly.
"This isn't ok seriously come on this is a joke, it's not funny, stop it."
I said crossing my arms distastefully.
"Lori it's the 18 hundreds, your lucky to not of been forced to have sex yet, you need to carry out a line and it's not ours so we found you someone very... nice?"
Mathias said glancing nervously at Nora.
"Yes he's very nice and seems lovely."
I let out a loud groan and straightened out the lapels of my morning gown then clearing my throat.
"When am I to meet him at this ball, and what is his name."
I muttered not looking up to meet their eyes.
"You will meet him tomorrow, that's when we're hosting it and why the servants are so preoccupied, so make sure to look your best. His name is Leon wang."
I snorted and walked away.
"Fine whatever."
I said and stomped up the stairs.
"LORI, MANNERS."
Our house keeper, Tino, said almost screeching at me as I got halfway up the stairs, his load of laundry nearly toppling over as he hurried down.
"Whoops."
I rolled my eyes playfully but lightened my footing heading back to my rooms to clean up and get what I wanted to wear ready.
After bathing for a long time, feeling smooth and refreshed I walked out into my room only bothering to put on a small white dress that dropped to my collarbone then smoothly flowed to my knees.
"Alright let's make this guy drool."
I muttered to myself tapping my chin lightly in thought.
"Il need tino to do my nails and hair perhaps even makeup, but for clothing, pfft I got this."
I gloated resting my hands on my hips and heading to my walk in closet looking through the many fabrics.
Morning came swiftly and much more rushed than I really wanted, my curtains were nearly ripped off their hinges as Tino threw them open excitedly and grinned.
"Morning sunshine~!"
He sang happily.
I shot up nearly falling off my mattress as I glared at him.
"What time do you even wake up at?!"
I said grabbing the blankets and throwing myself back into my bed pulling them over my eyes.
"Oh honey I don't think you could bear that information."
He said walking over to me and patting wherever he thought my head was, and was pretty spot on.
"So my sources tell me you need help with... makeup hair and...."
He said tapping his chin.
"Nails, how do you-?"
I responded sitting back up.
"Shaushhsshs darling it's all fine, now let's do this."
He said excitedly and pulled me out of bed and over to my dresser, he wiped off any remaining makeup and then started anew, powdering my cheeks, charcoaling my eyes, adding rouge to my lips then standing back to look at his masterpiece as if I was just a freshly painted canvas.
"Glorious, now let's get the rest done.. where's your coresette?"
He asked and I stood heading to my closet and quickly slipping out of my nighty and into my undergarments then grabbing my best coresette. I walked back out with it on and he quickly rushed behind me and yanked on the strings making me gag then gasp for a breath, once I got air back in my lungs we started on my nails, then hair. My nails were done a light colour just to make them seems nice, after he buffed and filed them he did a French manicure and added a translucent cream top coat, they dried relatively quickly, as he talked my ear off. Then to my hair. It was swept to the side in careful and delicate curls with multiple little pearl bobbles here and there, I headed to my closet to grab the gown I had chosen with Tino on my heels.
I pulled a flowing cream gown out and admired the lace and embroidery, there were long flowing skirts and the top was a elegant dip showing off my chest only the slightest bit, I quickly put it on and did a spin in front of the mirror watching the skirts spin out and enjoying he hiss as they slid across the floor. Tino stood back and nodded slowly.
"God it's going to be hard to top this on your wedding day."
He muttered under his breath and I laughed.
"I know you'll be able to do it."
I said encouragingly and curtsied slightly to him.
"Thank you very much Tino."
I said and stood smiling lightly.
"It was my pleasure, my lady."
He said bowing then sauntering out making me giggle lightly.
Looking at myself in the mirror one final time I smiled lightly and straightened my shoulders and back making myself look proud then took a deep breath and turned to my door as the chattering of people floated down the hall.

----------------////Leon's pov////-----------------

Their manor was enormous, it matched ours in size and their decoration was extremely western, but it had a more... homey feeling to it.
As we dismounted from our carriage my sisters instantly started chattering excitedly and begging the old man to explore.
"No, we're here for two reasons, to look good and to get Leon a wife."
He responded instantly and that worked making them hold their tongues. My black and red suit seemed to work in making me look more delectable, some ladies fanned themselves as I walked past, I kept a neutral look and averted my gaze from them, I wanted to prove that I was loyal to my future wife.
While the outside of the house seemed a little bit plain the inside was flourished with decoration, there were beautiful colours and decorations and the chandeliers light up the room wonderfully. Walking into the ballroom seemed like the equivalent of being hit by a brick, the music was overwhelming as we walked it but it smoothed out and was difficult to not want to just go and dance to it, the talking on the other hand was nerve wracking on its own.
We all looked around, nodded at each other, then separated heading our differed ways mostly just to socialize and try to sell the old mans trading business more. I had enhareted it so of course I wanted to keep it going.
Their champagne was like fireworks on my tongue and it was all amazing, the decorations, the food, the music was extravagant and the people were lovely, I wonder what she will be like?
Almost in response to my question, the music stopped, the chattering died down almost instantly, people stopped moving just to get a glance at the top of the foyer. Where our hosts would walk down the stairs and join the party, but of course like most other rich families they wanted to make a grand appearance, and god did they ever. Everyone was dead silent, I glanced around the room and say my family, each and every one of them were waiting in anticipation, for approval of my bride to be, or to shut her down and then leave.
An announcer cleared his throat and stood a little bit taller.
"Introducing our hosts, miss Nora Bønevik and her husband to be, Mathias Kølher."
He said in a booming voice as a couple walked in, god they were astounding, she looked like she could take anyone down with just a glance with her dark blue eyes and almost silver blond hair to match, and he was so powerfully built and seemed to be... grinning broadly sending a shiver down my spine, they would be the definition of a power couple. An applauds floated politely across the room as they took their spot at the railing looking down at everyone, they both nodded politely and waved, I unconsciously joined the clapping and found myself a little shocked to see such people.
She's related to these people, oh lord she's going to look like a goddess
I thought then shook my head slightly.
That's over zealous, she's probably beautiful but just be careful with your imagination try not to get your hopes up to much
I glanced at the old man and could tell he had the same thoughts as I did.
The announcer cleared his throat again sounding slightly irked and got our attention once again as the doors opened.
It seemed like everyone in the room leaned forewords slightly, myself included.
"Miss Lori Bønevik, sister or Nora and youngest in the household."
He said in his booming voice and everyone went silent as the grave waiting, were heard the hissing of her skirts first as she walked towards the balcony, it was just that silent. Then she came into view, and it felt as if the breath went clear out of me. She was beautiful, made completely out of grace and I was right she did look like a goddess, murmuring and gasps fluttered across the room, my family was all staring dumbfounded at her and I knew I was to.
All she did was simply curtsy and it was enough to make me snap back into my senses. She glanced around the room and her bright but seemingly ancient eyes met mine, lingered, then continued.
My heart fluttered and I just wanted to go see her to meet her, and find out how her perfectly curved lips moved as she spoke.
That's my fiancee oh my god
I thought and felt and hand clap down on my shoulder.
"Wow she's amazing, even better than I thought she would be."
It was the old man, and for once I felt respectful enough to call him Yao.
"Your like a good judge of character, Yao, thank you"
I muttered and nodded slightly taking a deep breath.
"But now I'm really nervous and I feel like I'm not enough for her."
I added under my breath and he clapped me on the shoulder once more, but more consoling this time.
"Don't worry boy, your completely worthy of her."
He said and I smiled lightly watching her walk down the stairs gracefully and almost instantly being surrounded by men and women alike trying to get her attention or talk to her, letting out a sigh I muttered.
"Yeah I hope so."
"Then go save your damsel in distress."
He said winking and I nodded heading right into the heart of the crowd.
