To My Son

Welcome to this world my newborn son,

I'm so overjoyed because you are my first one.

I love you with all of my heart,

And I never want us to be apart.

Words can't describe how I feel,

My dream of having a child has finally become real.

Looking forward to loving and raising you,

I'm going to take care of you and your mother too.

Being the best father that I can try to be,

Protecting you from the world and showing you what you need to see.

Giving you a family that will love you all day long,

Showing you any way I can that this is where you belong.

Adoration and love is all that I'll show,

But being stern just to let you know,

That I want you to grow up right and brightly glow,

And being your daddy is all that I know.

I'm going to do my best to make you proud,

I want to be the silver lining to your cloud.

Welcome to your family and welcome to your home,

Where ever you will go, you will never be alone.

Daddy loves you and mommy too,
