The Lock!

part five

"We're so dead. We only have one minute left." Says Claire.

We quickly get together the books and read them. The key was in the chair!

We run to the chair, and found the key! We ran over to the door, and UNLOCKED it!!!!!

"Guys! We did it!" Then we ran out the door. We were greeted by a taller man with blond hair and the same gray eyes. He was wearing a simple flannel long sleeve. He had a gotee, and was smiling.

"Well there is my princess." Says the man. Then I realize that it is my dad!

"Dad! Did you do that!" I yell at him.

"Yes. I created the room, and new that you would not be able to resist it. Your lives we not at stake, but I knew that was the only way for you to get out in time. I'm sorry if I scared you guys, but you still had a good time right?" He ask.

"I don't know? Did you?" I ask the girls. They nod, and shake their heads.

"Dad I thought you were out of town. You were not going to be home until Monday." I say.

"Well I came here to see how my room was doing. And don't feel special, I used that trick to get most people out of the cell." He says to us. I smile and hug him. Maddie and Claire follow, even though Claire did not know my father. Jo just hung around.

"Well Sandy wants to see you." I smile.

"Well I want to see her." He says.

We leave that place and go to get some real donuts.

Later that day, we go back to my aunts. She is so happy to see us, and then to also see John. She jumps on him.

"Nice to see you to Sandy." Says my dad.

"Well I did not know if you were coming today, or tomorrow, or not coming at all. So I'm really happy. We are having pizza later. You want?" She asks.

"Why would I ever turn down pizza. Whole made?" Asks my dad.

Sandy smiles.

"Yesssss okay, then later your getting beet in 'hand and foot.'" He smiles.

"Sure. Okay well Peter is calling so I have to go. See you later. And can you watch Josh?" She asks us. Claire and Madison both nod uncontrollably. I just nod, and Johanna. Well she just stood there.

"I don't mind." Says my dad.

We took Josh and Sandy went to see Peter at the bakery.

We walked inside and we see Wilson and Cameron.

"What did you do!" Yells Wilson, then he sees my dad there, and clams down a little.

"Hello Mr. John. How are you?" Says Wilson.

"Your fine. Okay going to go up stairs. Don't light the house on fire." He says and goes up stairs with little Josh.

"We did an escape room." I say. 

"And almost died!" Says Claire. I give her the look.

"You What! You said that you were just going out!" Says Cameron. Him and Madison had an incident in the summer, consisting of Cameron going to the other end of the US and Madison almost dying to save him.

"I did not plan it. None of us did. We were just minding our own business, when we hear that we have to get out with in the time limit. We did thankfully. But we would still have lived. It was my dad that set up the whole thing. So we're fine." I say. 

Wilson comes and hugs me tight. He is not going to let go anytime fast. Cameron comes and hugs Maddie even tighter and Jo, (this is ever odd) hugs Claire. We were all just hugging each other.

It had been a long day. I'm I glad I did that with my friends? Yes. Did I wish I was not threatened to be killed by my father. YES. But in the end, we all got to work together. We got to know more, and got to use our brains. It was fun. And trust me, we are going to test this out. It's the boys turn.
