The Power, Her Power

What he said blew my mind next.
    "But how? I don't have powers?" I say confused, I feel as if I'm about to blow up.

    ""Yes you do Jace."  Now it's Luca talking. "You come from a line called moon praisers. Of course, we praise the moon too, your line made sacrifices for the moon. In exchange, the moon gave them powers."

    "The moon gave them powers, how can the moon give them powers??" I'm confused. But continue with my questions anyways. "So my mom and dad are moon praisers? They don't seem like the magical type of people." I say, obviously they hate supernatural stuff.

    "My name is Roman, and I am the elder." The one who stepped forward said. He had brown hair like Luca, he looked strong. Roman was also tan. "There is a lot you don't understand."

    "What's that suppose to mean!" I say frustrated.

     "Your parents are not your parents." He says emotionless. What? "Your mother, Cassandra was friends with the women who raised you, Lila. Your real father was named, Arthur."

     "Say what? Since when was I adopted! Why did they abandon me!" I can't right now, this is to much. But it does make sense, my parents never even cared about me. They would forget me at stores, parks, playgrounds, even going out for dinner most of the time.

      "They didn't abandon you, they died and asked for Lila and her husband to take you in." This is horrible. I find out my fake parents are fake, and that my real ones died?!?? I guess I can't call my fake parents my parents anymore.

       "Your mother was a werewolf, and your fathers side were moon praisers." He says continuing.
        "So what does that make me? Wait, my moms a werewolf? Does that mean I'm one?"
         "Yes, your what they call a moon wolf." I'm a wolf?? I'm. A. Wolf. "And we are going to help you control it."

          After he said that it's like I can feel the powers running through me.
          I can feel my powers running through me.
