It's hard. It's really hard. I stayed the night at their mansion falling asleep in the biggest room they had in the house. They spoiled me like I'd never been spoiled before. But I didn't notice because I was drowning. Not in water, not dying, cracking, under the pressure. My life just turned upside down, what do you expect? I need to get out, I need to run, I need to be free.
I woke up, those words echoing in my head, run. Probably the best night sleep I've ever gotten and I can't even enjoy it, doesn't matter run.
I jump up open my big doors and run. The stairs are huge and I feel like I'm running out of breath just trying to get down them. But I keep going. Out the big doors, down the steps, into the woods, deep into the woods. I find a tree climb it to the highest branch I can reach and sit.
"Jace! Jace where the HELL are you! It's hard, I get it, but you can't hide from it, you have to face it, we can face it together if you'd like?" Luca, of course, he knows me, he knows where I go to get away, I just don't know him.
"Go the HELL away Luca. You don't get it, you don't get me." That's a lie.
"Oh really you wanna bet?" He said from a distance, but before I knew it he was right next to me, he knows me.
"Ughh!" I fall, once again. He helps me up. He's so sweet. No stop it! He's not, he ruined my perfect life, my perfectly boring going nowhere life.
"Come on." We we're back up in the tree with like some super speed or whatever he has. But I'm not comfortable there with him there... but he has been there the whole time.
"Listen, you have problems. Don't we all? But you need to get over them. Like I said it's hard but you have responsibilities now you can't just leave them behind." He was right. I need to go back.
Back home that is.
And tell them I'm leaving.
Ok ik this is super short but It's part of the exposition so... anyways I just want to let you guys know I'm back and will be writing more, it gets good, stay tuned!
