Slowly, Riele woke up, yawing as she got up from the couch. She was confused.

Ri blinked her eyes rapidly and looked around the living room and saw multiple band posters plastered on the walls. It was weird because she remembers falling asleep in Jace's room after cursing him out about the whole "wanna be together" bs.

"Rieeeele! Baby! What's up?" Henry, one of Jace's roomates grinned as he walked out of his bedroom. Riele shook her head and rolled her eyes in annoyance as she got up from the couch.

[just realized i never mentioned anything about jace's other roomie henry. wow im a horrible author💀. guys just pretend yall know who henry is and etc. i also realized that i make these characters squint so damn much like they blind lmaoo 😭 whats wrong w me.]

"Well be like that then."

Henry said, blinking as he watched Riele push past him and walk into Jace's room.

She turned the door knob to see Jace shirtless, only with a pair of sweatpants on. He was staring intently at the TV. Riele looked to see what he was looking at and saw that he was playing fortnite. Of course.

"Why did I wake up on the couch?" Was the first thing that came out her mouth as she walked into the room and plopped onto his bed.

Jace only shrugged, making Ri sigh in annoyance.

"What? So casper just came in while we was sleep and carried me to the living room?"

Jace once again ignored her making Ri frown.

"Jaceee," she dragged his name out grabbing a pillow and throwing it at his head.

He still ignored her making her grab another pillow to throw at his head.

And he ignored her once again.

Sighing, she got up and moved in front of him, blocking his view of the TV making him suck his teeth.

"Riele get out the way."

Riele raised her brows as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Suddenly fortnite is better than me?"

"Ri what are you even—j-just get out the way please."

She finally got out the way making Jace sigh in relief.

"You know what?" Riele started her sentence as she grabbed her hoodie and sandals. "Eat ass white boy!"

"Soo dramatic," Jace muttered under his breath, continuing to play his game.

"And to think I was gonna talk to you about 'us' or whatever the fuck this is!"

Jace stopped playing.

He immediately dropped the controller and followed her into the hall and outside the apartment.

"Ri wait!" He called.

She ignored him and rushed down the stairs. Jace called out her name again but Ri only continued to ignore him and rush down the stairs.
