Introvert and Party

Before I start, Gusto ko lang pong ipaalam na wrong grammar ito. .una, kasi mahina ako dun. Pangalawa, nalito ako LALO.. Hahahah. . basta. . so ayun . .though either way eh ok lang naman. . hahahah

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

So what does introverts have to do with parties? Simple. . . They are invited, and because they're too shy to refuse, then they can't NOT go.

So I'll tell you a simple story about someone I know. I'll call that "someone" ME or I. . . hahahaha

ME is an introvert ^__^

And she was invited to a party and because she didn't know if her other friends were also welcome to join in, she didn't ask them to come along. So, that time she didn't have anyone to go with.

Having washed clothes from morning till afternoon, she was now very worried about getting there on time. Finished washing clothes with only 30 mins to spare before party time she was now anxious and annoyed for quite a lot of reasons.

First, I hadn't taken a bath yet. Though she has been trained in the art of DUCK-Bath it might still take a while for her to prepare.

Second, I hadn't prepared a gift for the celebrant yet. Which for a child is the most important thing on a birthday party, aside from balloons and cake. So I need to get to the store and purchase one. And again, that will take SOME TIME!
Ughhhhhhhhhh -___-

Third, I is already stressed!!!!!
And when I is stressed, she just wants to go back to bed and forget about even being invited in the first place.

Fast forwarddddddddddddd!
(I won't share about the gruesome details about ME taking a bath. . hahahha)

ME went to the one-stop store to buy a gift and a paper bag. To her horror, there was no paper bag in which the gift will fit in. . . . ohw-nhow!!!!!!!

They don't have it all for ME. . tsk tsk tsk. . well it's not an SM mall, FYI.

Having made a decision, I dragged herself  to the paying area and joined the line. Because I was already running 30 mins late for the party and spotted a number of mugs on the counter (They will cover the mugs one by one with paper soooooooooo. . . that will again take years to finish!), I transferred to another line. But apparently, I hadn't been that observant for she failed to notice the person in front of her to be carrying a number of glasses himself.

D*mn!. . . huhuhuhu

By now, ME is now oh-so-STRESSED!!!

ME is also now formulating ways to make the trip to the party less humiliating.

One way, ME is going to ditch it altogether, even buying the annoying gift which is hanging by her side.

Second, buy the F*cking gift, wrap it up, deliver it and disappear! PLOP! Easy-peasy. . ME wouldn't want to waste her effort in preparing and buying a gift, and even going out of the house and walking alongside other people just so it would end in nothing.

But. . . . the saddening part is that, I can't do that. She might not be the celebrant, but she is one important guest, well TWO if you consider her size.  .hahahahhaha

After paying for the gift I immediately traveled to the next store to buy a paper bag. After fighting an internal battle about asking the clerk for a favor about using their stapler to close the paper bag, I had summoned her little to NO courage and asked. Good thing the clerk didn't seem to mind and just let her be.
