[9] A Sudden Vision

Brook and Aroeht suddenly come into the cabin and Karen and Tom turn to them. "You guys! I was already worried!" Karen yelled and Aroeht yelled back at her saying there was an accident. Brook and Tom stared at each other with crystalline eyes and in shock.

"Isn't this the cheesy part where we just hug each other and we seem like the prettiest couple ever?"

Tom said with a sad smile and Brook ran to him and hugged him like a little kid hugging his father or like a brother hugging a brother. Brook's eyes were closed but still, they let a few tears go.

The girls stood beside the one another with chuckles as they looked at each other and then looked at their boyfriends.

Brook opened his eyes and broke Tom's neck with both hands so that Karen and Aroeht gasped while grabbing each other's hands and Aroeht covered her own mouth with one hand. Brook's eyes glowed gold and he turned around with a smirk as his diabolic star glowed purple.

"One down. Who's next? The red head or the upgraded cheesy girl?"

He said and Karen looked at Aroeht. "Run!"

"I am not going to leave you, Karen!"

"I SAID: RUN!"

She yelled and Aroeht quickly turned to the door, grabbing the lock of it but the door wouldn't open. She groaned and pulled forward and backward to open it but something made her stop.

Some black veins traveled up and down her arms and her eyes turned completely black like if possessed. "Aroeht? Aroeht, let me help you open the door--"

Karen was saying but Aroeht turned to her so that Karen gasped at seeing her eyes. "Aro..." Karen whispered but Aroeht smirked and snapped her neck so that Karen gasped and fell on the side of her face. Still not dead but her eyes wandered around and her mouth was shaking.

Brook grabbed Karen's feet and dragged her backward as Karen screamed and squirmed but he laughed and pushed her up in the air so that he slammed her against a wall that had loose cables with sparkling electricity and she screamed with her body shaking and the electricity hitting on her.

Aroeht gasped when she stopped being possessed and her eyes turned normal. She saw Karen and gasped. This time, Karen was truly dead and some snakes had wrapped up around her body.

Brook turned around and smiled. "Thank you for your help." He said and she turned around and ran to the door so this time she pulled the lock, she got out of the house. Brook smiled and walked to the direction of the door.

Once Aroeht stepped out, everything was wrapped up with snow and snowflakes were falling. She lowered her steps to hug herself and then she started running away again through the woods and emerging in the darkness.

Patty's shoulder hit hers and both groaned coming to an stop and both looked at each other.

"Aroeht?"

"Patty?"

"Why are you running? And where's Brook? Where are the others?"

"Patty... You need to run."

"What?"

"Brook. Is not... Himself. He has changed. I am telling you, run! As fast as you can --"

An ax was thrown from far away and it hit Aroeht's side of head so that Patty gasped, covering her mouth with both hands. Aroeht's mouth puke blood but she fell on the side of her face. Patty looked up at her left and saw Brook's golden eyes and his evil smirk along with his star on his forehead.
