"Oh my God they have a white fucking piano!" Damon exclaims as he runs over to the elegant instrument.

Me and Damon where exploring the hotel and ended up finding a leisure room, filled with games, books and musical instruments. No one was in the room, so we had it all to ourselves.

Damon flips the lid off of the piano and runs his hands along the black and white keys. His expression suddenly changes from focused and enchanted to cheeky and playful.

"Hey, Jess?" He says, cheekily.

"Yes, my love?" I reply, laughing at his cheeky face.

"Do you remember your ex James?" He giggles.

I sigh, "How could I forget, why?"

He giggles again and begins playing the piano as singing, "I met him in a crowded room, where people go to drink away their gloom."

"Oh no."

"He sat me down and so began, the story of a charmless man!" He continues, laughing.

"Lord give me strength," I groan.

"Educated the expansive way-"

"Okay, okay that's enough," I laugh and playfully push him away from the piano.

"Aw you're no fun," he pouts.

"Yes I am," I say, positioning my hands on the piano, "because I wrote a song about Avery."

Damon rolls his eyes and I take a deep breath and begin violently slamming my hands on the keys.

"Bitch! Bitch! Low-life scummy bitch!" I sing loudly.

Damon bursts out laughing.

"Fucking snaky slag I hope you choke on some lads-"

"Stop...please..." he wheezes, "I can't...breathe!"

"Slag, slag, you tried to steal my man but he doesn't want your filthy-"

"Jess! Please!" Damon says, tears in his eyes from laughter.

I laugh and stop bashing the piano and Damon falls on the floor, still laughing.

"I didn't think it was that funny," I laugh and help him up.

"It's funny because it's true," he says as he composes himself.

"Come on, lazy arse, I want to go visit Pompeii," I say, beginning to walk out of the room.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Damon frown as he follows me sadly.

"What's wrong?" I ask, turning on my heel to face him.

Damon shrugs, "I just kinda want to relax...it's been such a crazy year and I just want it to be me and you...but I don't mind if you want to go see Pompeii..."

I suddenly begin to chuckle as Damon is so adorable. Damon looks at me with confusion and I shake my head.

"Bless your soul," I chuckle, "I've seen Pompeii a hundred times! I just thought you'd want to see it."

"Oh, well...what to do now?" Damon asks.

"We could stay in here a little longer, maybe you could play me the rest of that song," I laugh.

Damon smiles as we walk back into the room. I walk over to the bookshelf and scan the book selection. As my eyes skim over the various book titles my eyes land on a book of nightmares: Steven King's 'IT'.
