"Riley?" Hissed a voice loudly. I felt thumps and shakes as I returned to reality. "Riley, wake up!"

Rubbing my eyes, I looked up to see all of those who I had grown to care for with me. I stared up at them, scanning to see who all was there.

First was Sebastian, his face above mine. He was holding my body upward to the others.

Then came Ciel. His eye glared down at me uneasily, his hand on my hand.

Next was Grell. His usually carefree expressoin was worrysome and hard. His red eyes actually had tears swelling inside.

Now Ronald, a man who I had barely known. His information had been the best of us all. He was standing over Grell, watching and waiting for me to awake.

Finally, came my sister. Her eyes were streaming with tears and sadness. She was holding my other hand and crying hard.

"Oh, good! She's awake!" Sebastian whispered.

"Riley, what were you thinking?! Scaring me like that!" Annie hissed.

"Anne, please. Shh. She needs her rest." Ciel whispered.

"I'm fine..." I mumbled, standing up. My head ached and burned; I held it as I began to walk.

"Where are you going, Riley?!" Grell barked. "You just woke up! You can't be walking around already! Its not safe for you!"

"We have to find the killer, or at least more evidence."

"N-No we don't!" Annie put in.

Our heads shot around and glared at her, our eyes burning with fury. How could she have said that?! Of course we have to find them!

"What?!" We all hissed, glaring at her angrily.

"Look, those men would have been killed in the first place! The killer is just quickening the process." She answered.

"Why would they have been killed?" Ronald asked.

"Because they hit the women in their lives!" She hissed. "Just like my father!"

"Annie, this is no time to bring up our past issues. Besides, they would just be locked away for who knows how long. Not be put on the electric chair." I retorted. "Now, come on. Stop being foolish and lets go find that killer!"

She frowned and stomped off passed us. She looked at me and whispered as she passed me, "You'll never be the sister you were."

My heart broke into two as we walked to the carriage rental station, horses roped into our hands.
