((Keke's P.O.V.))
My bestfriend has been gone for a while now. We talk on the phone from time to time. That's not enough for me though. The other day she told me when it's that time she's not coming to the wedding because she know Brennan is going to be there. I wish she could just put that to the side and just be there for me.
We were at Brennan's new home and I was helping him unpack with Dj. The door bell rang and Dj answered it . I heard him trying to whisper. He can't do that for nothing. The door was pushed back and he was moved out the way. This girl came storming in and Brennan stopped what he was doing. She look like the girl that was on them pictures that the investigator gave Lee.
"What Vern?" he asked and she sighed
"I thought you love me? why haven't you been picking up your phone or anything? " she asked. I want to say something so bad to this women cause she broke up a happy home. Well at least I think it was happy. Then again to think about it , it couldn't have been too happy because he stepped outside his relationship looking for something more than what he had.
"I was just caught in the moment Vern. I don't want nothing from you" He said stopping what he was doing. This girl is standing here looking stupid... Embarrassing herself, she should just leave and stop playing. She soon walked out the house cause Brennan went back to doing what he was doing.

A lot has happened over a year. Brennan kept searching for Lee. Lee gave up on Brennan, she really didn't want to. The baby have been born. His name was Brennan, he came out looking just like his father. Lee and her mother have established a better relationship with each other. Lee's mom is no longer on drugs anymore. She is a recovered and healthy women. Hopefully she can keep it that way.
( ( Lee P.O.V. ) )
I'm going back up to my hometown for my girl keke's wedding. I'm so happy for her. Her wedding is tomorrow and I'm not gonna make it into town til about early this morning. I got all the kids with me. My mom didn't come she stayed home cause she couldn't get tomorrow off.
I made it into town. We stayed at this hotel. It was nice. I only have a few hours to sleep.
I got up this morning, straightened my hair, and put on my white dress. I chose not to be in the wedding for the simple fact that I have a child and I don't live in the city anymore. I even told keke I wasn't coming. I was gonna surprise her. I got the kids dressed then we left to go to the wedding. It was beautiful. It was set up so nice. I sat down and took the baby out of the car seat. I felt a hand on my back, and there he was ... My sons sperm donar. "Hey Lee" he said sitting in the seat next to me.
"Hello" I smiled. its killing me inside cause I'm still in love with him. I thought I was over him but I guess not cause im feeling a sudden urge to just be up under him and stuff. I miss him.
"look , Lee I know I messed up" I cut him off
"Stop Brennan" my voice began to crack and I shedded a tear. He pulled his chair closer to mine. I'm still emotional. He wiped my tear "You wasn't there. You left me to go through this pregnancy alone"
"I know and I apologize" he said staring into my eyes
"No , I gave you everything a real woman could ever give her man. You wasn't even answering my phone calls or text messages. I was so in love with you" I looked down at my baby "My heart was with you...all the way" He put his hand on my thigh under my dress. Sending chills down my back. He still got that affect on me.
