Sorry its been so long updating kiddos.. college is a living hell.... and I'm not ok (I promise). Nah jk.. I'm good but I've just been super busy and haven't had much time for this.

Dallon woke up in the morning and instead of being greeted by his little boys climbing on top of him eagerly awaiting morning cuddles and breakfast he was met with a sneezing Ryan on his left and a shivering Joshua on his right.

"Boys?" Dallon looked over at both of them, "are my babies sick?".

He was met with only slight nods and soft whimpers from both of them.

He reached over to both of them to pull them closer to him to comfort them.

"Aw, my poor babies." he felt both of their foreheads, "Oh god, babies you're burning up."

The boys just whimpered and snuggled into their daddy.

Dallon was afraid to move and disturb them so he stayed. He let them lay there on him for another hour. He was able to feel that they both had fallen back asleep so he snuck away  to make them food. He knew they wouldn't have an appetite but he had to try to get them to eat.

About 20 minutes later he was startled by a sudden scream from upstairs, it sounded like Ryan. Dallon turned the stove off and ran upstairs, using his long legs to skip some steps.

"Ryan what's wrong?" a slight panic in his voice but more of concern. Ryan didn't respond and was covering all but his eyes under the fluffy blanket sitting up in the bed. He just pointed to Josh leaning over the bed throwing up on the floor. The older man rushed over to him and knelt in front him, avoiding the incident on the floor. He petted the boys thighs and cupped his face, wiping his mouth with his own sleeve.

"Oh my poor poor babies," his voice was so full of concern and heartbreak for seeing his boys so sick,  he was gonna kill Frank for letting Gee come over when he was still sick last week, "Ryry, do you feel like you have to throw up too?" Dallon asked the small brunette boy as he scooped the pink haired one in his arms.

Ryan shook his head no and then just froze. He looked at Dallon with a frown and teary eyes.

"Ryan?" the tall man was confused and then his question was answered when Ryan emptied his already empty stomach onto the bed. Ashamed of ruining the bed Ryan cried, he hardly ever cried.

Dallon sighed gave Ryan a reassuring smile to calm him. It failed. He moved Josh to his hip to free up one of his hands. He pushed the soiled blanket off the bed and reached for Ryan who just crawled into his arm and upon his hip. He buried his face in Dallon's shoulder and let out a shaky breath followed by an apology.

"Shhh, it's ok baby. It's fine. I promise." Dallon took both the boys to the bathroom to get them cleaned up. "Do you boys wanna take a bubble bath with Daddy?" he was hopeful that the mention of warm bubble baths with their daddy would make them smile. To his chagrin he was met with whimpers and both the boys just buried their faces into the crook of the taller man's neck.

"Ok babies, no baths. But we need to clean you up ok?" he started with Josh. He took the little boy and sat him on the edge of the tub. "Put your hands up baby," the usually fiesty boy was too weak to disobey. So he simply picked his arms up and let Dallon carefully take the dirty sweater off of him and throw it in the hamper. He grabbed Josh's favorite pink unicorn onesie from the closet and zipped him up. He kissed him on the forehead and handed him a stuffie before switching him out for Ryan. He did the same for the brunette and opted for Ryan's favorite, the polar bear onesie that made him feel big and strong.

He picked both of the boys up again not giving a second thought to the pain his back was gonna be in tomorrow. He took them downstairs and gave them both a trash can in case they felt sick again. He put a movie on for them and went back to the kitchen. He looked at the food he prepared and just put in some Tupperware for later. He wasn't going to force them if it would just make them sicker.

The rest of the day consisted of Dallon emptying trash cans every fifteen minutes and making hot and cold compresses for his babies. He never minded, it was no bother it just broke his heart. He couldn't do anything to make them feel better. He wanted so badly to just take all the sick and put it on him, not his beautiful boys.

Eventually night came but the time didn't matter. The boys were in and out of sleep all day and he doubted that whether the sun was up or not would let them sleep soundly.

At about 10pm he started to fall asleep on the couch with his arms laid around both of his babies holding them close as they held their little buckets. In his sleep he prayed that he would wake up in the morning and his boys would be smiling and waiting for their waffles.
