As soon as you reached the spare room, you slammed the door and sat down on the bed, thinking about what just happened.
Obviously, the prospect of sharing a car with Miles was possibly the worst thing that could happen to you at the moment. You were dreading the arkwardness and stiff air of the journey to work, that you were cursing at yourself for agreeing to his offer of a lift.
Sighing, you stood up and got undressed, and slipped on the clothes you wore yesterday, since you had nothing else to wear and slumped out of the room back towards the living room where you were greeted by Edgeworth.
"So, shall we set off?" He questioned politely as soon as you entered the room.
"Whatever." You grumbled as you followed him out to his car.
You had to admit, you were quite shocked to see the type of car he had. It was an expensive looking red sports car, which almost perfectly complimented Edgeworth's attitude and personality. Honestly, you were expecting a roughed-up Fiat 500, as you had presumed that Miles was not one to care for cars. Obviously, you were very wrong.
Edgeworth unlocked the car and opened the passenger door, gesturing for you to get in. This gentlemanly action made a light blush creep onto your cheeks - you never knew he could be so chivalrous.
Trying - and failing - to hide your blush, you nodded at him and climbed into the car before Edgeworth shut the door and made his way round to the drivers side to get in. Just before he closed your door however, you could have sworn you saw a slight smirk on his face for whatever reason.
Once Edgeworth entered the car, he started the engine, and thus, a painfully long and silent journey began, with both parties reluctant to initiate conversation with the other.
After a painful 40 minutes, you arrived at the office. Edgeworth got out of the car first, and started to make his way around to the passenger door, in order to open it for you.
Before he could do this, however, you had already hastily left the car and ran off to your office, shouting a "thanks" back to him on the way.

As soon as you got to your office, you slammed the door behind you and hastily started to look around for something to lock - or at least barricade - the door with in order to stop Edgeworth from wandering in.
As you were rooting around for something to achieve this with, you remembered that you had your office key in your jacket pocket.
Sighing in relief, you took it out of your pocket and walked over to the door to lock it, only to see that it was opening.
"Not now Miles..." you muttered.
You knew you couldn't just slam the door on the poor guy, so instead, you took the initiative to hide behing your solid mahogany desk, hoping that it would be enough to disguise yourself from him.
After a long ten seconds you heard a voice. Albeit, an unfamiliar voice.
"You do realise I can see you there, (L/N)-Dono." The voice stated bluntly.
You popped out from behing the desk, flustered, only to be greeted by a tall, dark haired man, wearing a scowl, long overcoat and a black suit and - was that a samurai sword?
"A-ah, s-sorry, I was hidi- I mean, I was just picking up my office key." You laughed sheepishly as you held up your office key as 'proof' of your weird behaviour.
The man just grunted in response.
"So, uh, do you have any business with me?" You asked quietly.
"Hmm? Oh, yes I do, but first allow me to introduce myself." The man bowed towards you. "The name is Simon Blackquill, a fellow district prosecuter and neighbour. My office is number 1200. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"It's a pleasure you meed you too Prosecutor Blackquill, I'm (Y/N) (L/N), but I guess you already knew that." You laughed again.
"Indeed I did." He replied. "Now, I have a case for you to work on, sent directly from the Chief Prosecutor. A murder case. Do you think you can handle it?" He questioned.
"You bet I can." You smiled brightly at him, over the moon at your first case.
"Okay, I'll leave you to it then, (L/N)-Dono." He said as he left the room, giving you a slight wave.
"Okay, thanks again Prosecutor!" You voiced loudly.
Once he had left, you resumed your earlier practice of locking your office door. After this you slumped down at your desk and began to read through the case files you were given, excited of the prospect of your first real time prosecuting someone.
