Story's POV
"Wait! YOU CAN'T TAKE HER!" Nieve shielded me. "I won't let you."
"Tch." The guard showed an angry expression, but because Nieve was Alice also the main protagonist to a story, not to mention if she gets hurt then the guard will have to pay the wrath of the Spinner of Tales. "I'm sorry, but Katherine Meav has been sentenced with treason--"
"You mean by escaping for nothing I did and being held captive outside my will AND technically waking up being covered in chains, then sure...... sue me." I talked back.
"Anyway the prince wants her, you WILL come to him, by will or force." the guard said.
"I said, 'Fi--"
"How about you will stay away from her." just then knights, or chess pawns, black and white guarded me, my expression was like, DA FAQ. I only knew one person who has these kind of knights with him.
"OWEN CHESTER!" I spoke up and looked behind me to find him standing there tall and proud. He raised his hand and there was that dreaded freaking chess piece I hate for some unknown reason.
"KATHERINE MEAV!" Just then a boy about a two or one year older than me appeared wearing the most ridiculous outfit I've seen, it took all of my will power to not laugh. He had black hair and blue eyes that could strike a person like lightning. In other people's eyes they could see Prince Adrian King, but to me all I saw was my big brother.
We're not related by blood or law, we chose to be like brother and sister, he was always there for me but now, we had to play our new roles, the two original characters, now in our world, didn't have this until we showed up. my brother and I....let's just say that one of us can only survive unless some random riddle is solved or we get our magical powers back.
"Prince Adrian King..." My tone was flat, but my expression was filled with sadness then I mouthed the words, "Onee-San."
His eyes widened a little bit and regret soon ran across his face, my head soon started to hurt, even through I wasn't born in Wonderland, some of the rules applied to me about my role.
In the original characters, they didn't even meet, but as the new characters of the story......we will have to kill each other. Our powers only work if someone or our self is in danger, but our that wasn't my full power, as my instinct took over as I slowly used my magic to bring rain around me.
"What the--" One of the guards said.
"What's happening?!" Another.
"IS THIS YOUR DOING!?" Another one said.
I closed my eyes as I concentrated on my power tears fell down my face but the rain was masking it, slowly growing harder and faster. By then my clothes were soaking wet and hair was down on my face even though my hair was short.
"K-Kather-i-ine...." Nieve said in a shaking voice.
She's scared.....good....
"KATHERINE!" Prince Adrian King yelled at me.
"...." I said nothing and opened my eyes once again as the rain grew dimmer and slower, suddenly it stopped as time stopped. Everything turned black and white, the people the grass, the sky, all of it was black and white, the only ones that had color was Prince Adrian and me.
CHRONUS'S POV
As I was watching the big clock, I felt time was being stopped, just then everything turned black and white.
"What the--" My eyes went wide as the clock also stopped to. Everything seemed to stop I felt two life forms that wasn't stopped by time.
