Summer Fling

Chapter 2

A/N: Thank You so much for reading 'Summer Fling.' I did not expect to get feed back! but again thank you all for reading 'Summer Fling' :)

"We aren't going anywhere special yet, but for now we can just walk the beach if you'd like. See the beauty of it." Anna said."Sure." We walked into the kitchen and opened the glass sliding patio door, and walked out on the patio.

The sun was shining so bright, there were seagulls flying around in the sky, there were people laughing and smiling, people were walking beside the water, there were people spraying their bodies with sunscreen, laying towels on the sand. People were playing volleyball, kids were making sand castles, people were in the water and laughing when a wave hit them. Everyone seemed so happy.

A cool breeze touched my skin. When we got to the beach, I found a stick and wrote my name in the sand, 'Melody was here,' and I drew a smiley face next to it. Anna did the same, except she drew a heart. We both giggled.

We started walking again and we saw a little boy getting upset because he had to put sunscreen on. "Awe come on Mom I just want to go swim," The boy said. "Not until you get your sunscreen on." "Ugh." The little boys Mom put a little bit of the sunscreen on her finger and put it on his nose. They giggled together. "So, you going to tell me what we're doing later?" "Nope." Anna smirked and I gave out a sigh. "Can you give me a hint?" "Hmm... that would probably give it away. So nope again." Anna giggled. "This is complete torture." "Oh you'll be fine."

We walked past a group of boys playing a game of Volleyball. A really cute boy was about to spike. I watched his lips move. Saying something but I couldn't make out what he was saying. Everything went black for some reason. All I heard were muffled voices. I couldn't open my eyes. I grumbled.

An angelic voice said, "are you okay?" I rubbed my forehead. It stung. I could finally open my eyes to see the cute boy by my side and looking at me. He stroked my cheek with his thumb. "Are you okay? how many fingers am I holding up?" He was holding up two. "Two." "She's okay," he said. "What's your name?" "M-Melody." "Well M-Melody, can you sit up?"

I sat up perfectly fine, it was just my head that hurt. He still had his hand on my cheek still stroking my cheek with his thumb. He noticed it too and he quickly put his hand to his side. "Well I'm really sorry about that, I spiked the ball wrong and it hit you in the head." One of the boys that was playing Volleyball with him chuckled. another boy hit the other boy that laughed in the back of the head. "Ow!" "Shut up."

The cute boy got up and put his hand out for me to grab it. I grabbed his hand and got up. He kept staring at me. There was breeze and it messed up his perfect hair and made it fall over his eyes, making him look cuter than he was before. He let go of my hand and fixed his hair with a smirk. "Well i'll see you around?" "Uh... yeah" He smiled and turned around and resumed his game of Volleyball with his friends.

Anna was smiling. We started walking. "He's cute. I ship it." "Come on Anna we just met, we don't even know each other." "So." "So, I don't know him. He is cute though." "I can tell he wants to see you again," she said as she looked back. "Look, he's still staring at you Mel." I looked back and like Anna said, he was still staring at me while I was walking. He smirked. That smirk. I just want him to spike the ball wrong and hit me in the head again. I giggled at my thoughts. Anna looked at me "What are you giggling for?" "Nothing".

We went grocery shopping after we got home and it was near to night time. "So.. Anna what happened to you having a huge day planned?" "Oh yeah about that," She smirked. "We still do. Do you have any tight cute dresses?" "uh i'm not sure... why?" "come with me we still have hours to get ready and it is almost night time." "o-kay?" "Lets go!" She yanked my arm and ran upstairs.

She walked me into her room and let go of my arm. She started looking through her bags and suitcases. "Here!" she held out a two piece black dress that was really cute. The top had straps and the bottom was a short skirt. I walked into my room and put it on. It wasn't too revealing which was a plus but why does she want me to wear this?

I walked to her bedroom and knocked on the door. "Can I come in?" "yeah." I opened the door to her room. She was wearing a short black dress that was a short sleeve off the shoulder. It was really pretty. "You look amazing!" I said. "Um hello you're the one that looks amazing!" We chuckled together. "Ready for makeup?" Anna said. "Yes ma'am."

We finished our makeup and we both curled our hair. We put on our heels and we were out the door. As Anna led the way, I was getting very confused. "So we got all dressed up, we did our hair, and our makeup. What's going on?" "Well now that you say that, hold on..." Anna looked through her wallet purse for something. She found what she needed, and held them up. "What's that?" "Oh these? These my dear Melody Brookes are fake Id's. Here." "ANNA." "What?" "We are not using fake Id's for whatever we're doing." "Oh yes we are. That's the only way we can get in." "Get in where?" "The club," she winked at me. "Wait.. what?!" "Yes ma'am, the club. And we're going."

I couldn't argue with Anna any longer, we were already close. I could hear the music blasting from where we were walking. And I wasn't angry at Anna that this was her idea the whole time. I mean, who wouldn't want to go to a club with fake Id's just to get in? me. But I have to admit, Anna knows how to have a good time, so I can't complain.

"Ready?" Anna asked. "Yeah.." "Come on Mel, it's going to be fun!" "Okay." We walked up to the club. There was a buff man at the door letting people in. We got in line and waited. The line wasn't that long so we'd get in quickly. "Id's?" The buff man said. "Uh yeah," Anna said as she held out her fake ID. I held up mine too. "Thank you, you can go in." We opened the door to get inside. We both made sure we were far enough from him so he couldn't hear us both scream."YES!"

"Melody?" A familiar voice said. "Melody?" They started shaking me. "What do you want Anna?" "Uh it's not Anna.. it's that boy that accidently hit you in the head with the Volleyball.." I opened my eyes and sure enough he was at my side looking at me. "Are you Okay? How'd you fall asleep out here?" "Yeah I'm okay," I said as I sat up. I guess I fell asleep. At the beach.

"Where's Anna?" "Oh Anna, she's sleeping over there," he pointed to where she was sleeping and I looked where he pointed to. Sure enough Anna was sleeping right next to a big rock. "So how did you fall asleep here?" "Me and Anna went to a club last night and I think we got super drunk and walked the beach and fell asleep." He laughed. "I never got to tell you the last time I saw you. I'm Skylar." I held out my hand in a humorous way. "Nice to meet you Skylar." We both giggled together. He took the back of my hand and put it to his lips and kissed it. I stared at his lips. And I looked into his eyes.

"Melody." "Yes?" He leaned in to get close and stopped at my ear and whispered in a low husky voice, "I know you want to kiss me. But, there's only one thing that will make that happen. That's if you're mine this summer." His breathe tickled my neck which sent shivers through my entire body. He moved back to the position he was in before and looked at me with a smirk. I bit my bottom lip, and stared at him. "Uh.. yeah.. sure," I said blushing. He laughed
"Melody is mine."

A/N#2: Hey! I hope you enjoyed my second chapter of 'Summer Fling.' It look a long time, but I hope you enjoyed it! Also, to explain why I didn't add any details about what happened with Melody and Anna at the club is because I couldn't think of anything to write because I was too excited for the Skylar and Melody part! Later on I will try and think of something and edit it.
