We were just kids. No older then 10 years old, when the accident occurred. It was the first one I remember.
We had just gotten ice cream at the local shop and were sitting on the swings of our favorite playground, our parents on the bench in front of us.
Then, I herd a gunshot. I immediately looked over at my best friend, Sophie. She screamed and fell on the ground, blood spilling out of her back onto the mulch she was now laying on.
My eyes widen and I jump off the swing and sit on my knees next to her.
"Sophie! Sophie!! Sophie please!! No!! Sophie! Sophie!!!" I screamed shaking her before my mother picked me up away from her lifeless body.
My best friend.
I tried to pull away from my mother to get back to Sophie but she was to strong.
"Mommy!! No, Sophie!! What about Sophie?!?!" I screamed in her arms, Sophie, with her parents hovering over her body, grows smaller with each minute. I hear an ambulance up ahead.
My mother walks quickly with my father right beside her.
"They found us," my mother says to my father trying to be quiet but it doesn't really work, "I thought it'd take them a little longer." She finishes.
"Yes, me too." my father says.
They practically run to the car and set me down in the backseat. My mother takes the passenger seat while my father rushes into the drivers seat and turns the car on. We race out of the parking lot.
"Mommy?" I ask nervously, "Mommy what's going on?"
"Nothing Sweetie, just... just stay calm. We're going to have to move again though."
"Why? Why are we moving again?" I ask seeing house pull into view.
My father gets out of the car and runs into the house.
"Angelina, Sweetie, I need you to pack everything you need for the move as fast as you can ok?" Mother tells me as we pull into the driveway.
"Ok... Mommy, I'm scared." I say on the verge of tears.
"It'll be alright just go pack your things very fast ok?" She says reassuringly.
"Ok..." I say and open the car door and run into the house. I race to my room and grab my backpack and take some of my school books I won't need out and fill the backpack with some clothes. Once that fills up I get my suitcase and do the same thing grabbing old pictures of friends and little mementos of this life along with everything else.
When I finish I take everything I need and mentally say goodbye to the room I loved.
I run back outside where my father takes my luggage and shoves it in the trunk. I get into the backseat again while my father gets in the car again and turns it on. He backs out of the driveway and heads towards town.
After a while we park in the lot of the airport and my father gets everything out while my mother gets out our passports. We rush inside and my father shows the lady at the desk something and she gets a man to help with our luggage and lead us to private plane.
We all get on and my mother sits beside me while Father sits across from me. My mother grabs my hand and looks out the window as we take off into the sun-setting red-as-blood sky.

I sit on the edge of my new bed in my new room. I look around and try to see how I'll decorate this room to where it'll be easy to tear apart if I have to move again. In the past 8 years, I've moved 11 times. I only know bits and pieces why but otherwise I'm clue less, and my parents aren't helping much.
