When Briar and Silvia arrived at my house a little after they said they would I admit I got a bit excited.
Shopping isn't totally my thing, but it's better than being stuck inside a boring house for the rest of the day.
Briar texts me that she's outside and I walk out and tell leave a note for my parents so they won't worry.
I walk outside and see a navy blue convertible parked in front of my house.
“Hey, Angelina!" Briar calls while Silvia sticks her hand in the air and waves to me.
“Hey, guys!" I call back and wave while running softly to the car.
I open the back seat door and hop in.
“Hey, girl. What's up?" Briar asks as she starts driving.
“Not much, you pretty much saved me from another boring afternoon." I answer over the wind in my face.
“Well, we thought we'd steal you for a little to let you get some new clothes for your date Saturday." Silvia says and wiggles her eyebrows.
“How'd you know about that?" I ask as the mall comes into view.
“Its not like my annoying step-brother didn't brag about it all at home." She answers and rolls her eyes.
We pull into a spot close to the entrance of the nearest store; Rue 21.
“You ready, girls?" Briar squeals.
We all get out of the car and walk inside the store.
When we enter Briar goes all shopping crazy on us and practically runs around the store saying this and that are cute and that she'll buy it.
Silvia and I stay civilized and calmly walk through the store looking at cute clothes and picking some out to try on.
In the end Silvia pretty much picks out a few outfits for me and makes me try them on while she looks for Briar.
When I come out in a see-through teal sleeveless top, cute designer jean shorts, and teal Converse, I see Silvia and Briar are sitting waiting for me.
“OMG! That's so cute!!" Briar squeals.
“It looks really good on you, you should get it." Silvia says and smiles.
“Thanks, guys." I say smiling back at them.
“Now go try on the one I picked out!" Briar says and hands me more clothes.
I go change into what Briar picked and it turns out to be a white shirt that says, 'Los Angeles Cali', with a palm tree, all in purple, some faded jean shorts with a little hole in the side, and some purple sparkly Sperries.
“It. Looks. Amazing. I love it!" Briar says with wide eyes.
“It's really cute, Angelina!" Silvia says and smiles wider.
My friends rock.
“Thanks!" I say after a little, glad that I decided to go.
In the end I bought both outfits, the shoes, and we went to the cosmetic store and I got some makeup there.
Briar drove me back to my house and said, “This was really fun, Angelina! We all need to do it again sometime."
Silvia and I nod our heads in agreement.
I get out if her car, say goodbye to the both of them, and walk to the front door of my house and enter it.
“I'm home!" I shout.
“Oh, good we were just about to have dinner. What did you go buy?" She asks.
“Just some new outfits," I answer, “what's for dinner?"
“Spaghitti and meatballs." She answers.
Ooo, yum!

After dinner I head upstairs and set my outfits out. I've decided that I'll wear the outfit Silvia picked out with Sam and Briar's with Foster.
Sitting on my bed I think about all the things that have been going on; tomorrow I will have what? 4 days? Yeah...
I get up and change into my pajamas and jump onto my bed. I snuggle under the covers and let sleep take control; forgetting all my worries.
