-Peter's POV-
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!" Y/N cheered and squeezed me to death. Her happiness and joy always made me blush a little but this time I was bright red. When she hugged me I felt so I happy I had her in my arms, and I wish she knew that.
"I wanted to do something special since I know school has been hard." I told her.
"This means so much to me Peter!" She hugged me one last time and ran to her mom to tell her the news.***
That night, just as Aunt May fell asleep, I pulled out my suit and slipped it on. Mr. Stark had recently gave me an upgrade and I couldn't ask for more. I climbed out my window and swung through the city. I found a ledge to sit on and looked up at the sky. Unfortunately there weren't any stars due to the lovely light pollution of New York City, but I tried to look for them anyway. I decided to swing by Y/N's house to see if she was ok. I looked through her window and saw her laying on her bed, calling someone on her phone.
"Who gave you the tickets?" The person on the other end asked. I assumed it was Kayla, her best friend from Oregon.
"My good friend Peter, I actually l-"
"Does he know your secret?" They interrupted. Y/N looked around and whispered.
"No, you're still the only one that knows." What could she be keeping from me? I'm her best friend! Then again, she doesn't know I'm Spider-Man.
"Are you gonna tell him?"
"Maybe," she mumbles, "I have this weird feeling someone's watching me, I gotta go."
"That's New York for ya, can't wait to see you!"
"Bye!" Y/N hung up the phone and I quickly jumped onto the roof. I heard her window open and saw her look around. I held my breath, scared that she'd spot me spying on her. But when she realized there was no one there (or what she thought) she went back inside. As I was about to go somewhere else I heard yelling from inside."Mike, what do you want?" She sighed.
"I just wanted to let you know, you're worthless. And you aren't apart of this family. When you go to Oregon, stay there. Because I'm not your brother, and you're not my sister. Got it?"
"Oh I wish I could." Y/N jumped out of her bed, pushed Mike out of the room, and slammed the door. She scrambled with the door knob as she frantically locked it. Once she was done, she leaned her back against the door and gradually slid down. Putting her hands on her head, and her head on her knees, Y/N sighed. I always knew that even at home her family treated her like shit. Her brother, her dad, and her younger sister. The only person living in the house that loved her was her mom. And Madelyn, but she didn't live there, since she's in college.
Y/N told me everything, from how she got adopted, to her most embarrassing moments. But this one secret, I had no clue what it was. I wanted to know so bad. Before I could go in and check on her my phone rang. I got out of there, not bothering to answer the call, so Y/N wouldn't see me. Once I found a spot far enough from her window, I checked to see who was calling me.
When I saw the missed call, I sighed and rolled my eyes. It was Caitlyn, Mr. Starks niece. Caitlyn was kinda cute and friendly, but she wasn't Y/N. Most of the time she was straight up annoying.
Did I say most of the time? I meant all the time.
There wasn't much crime that night so I headed back home an hour later. I quietly climbed into my room, stripped off my suit, and jumped in bed. I looked up at the ceiling and thought, when should I tell Y/N I'm Spider-Man? When should I tell her I love her? When should I ask if she loves me?
It wasn't a school night so I stayed up late and looked back at memories and photos of Y/N and I. I kept wondering what this secret of hers was till I drifted off to sleep.
-this was kinda short-
