I woke up at 5:45. My plane left at 8:00, but my mom wanted me at the airport by 6:30 to go through security.
I threw on some leggings and a sweatshirt, but my hair up, and left for the airport. My mom drove me the half an hour distance.
"Ellie, remember, if you feel weird or need to come home, just call. I know that you're comfortable around Brady's family, but a week is a long time."
"I know mom, but I've spent a lot of time at their house with Brady, I think I'll be fine."
"Ok, I trust you. Just keep it pg. You're only 15." She said as she looked in her mirror to see me in the back. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Mom, I won't make any dumb decisions."
We arrived at the airport, and I got out of the car. We walked in, and checked in my bags.
"Sweetie, call if you need anything." My mom said as she kissed my forehead.
"Seriously mom, I wouldn't be going if I didn't think it was going to work." I responded.
"And Brady doesn't know your coming?"
"No. Casey is picking me up while Coleen and Brady go shopping, and I'm meeting them up at the lake."
"Sounds good, be safe. Love you"
She hugged me before I walked away. I walked up to a big board, that had all the time of flights on it. It takes about 5 hours to fly from LA to Milwaukee which means I would land about 3 pm his time.
I went through security, and boarded the plane. I was pretty tired from waking up so early, and figured I would be having a pretty busy week, so I took a nap.
I woke up to a flight attendant saying, "Passengers, welcome to Wisconsin."
I got off the plane, and got my luggage. I went outside and waited for Casey. I saw a familiar figure get out of a car, and we ran to hug each other.
"You don't even know how excited Brady is gonna be when he sees you!" She said.
"I hope!" I said with a huge smile.
We drove from the airport to their house, which didn't take that long. I walked into a house with a beachy feel. I was immediately greeted by Ryan, Jack, Sean, and a friendly hello from Cinco.
"Ellie, Brady and Coleen are just pulling up the driveway." Sean told me.
"Go hide in his room, it's the first right down the hall." Jack said.
I ran down the hall, and walked into a messy room full of old music cover posters.
I kneeled behind his bed, and waited for him to come in.
"I heard the door open, and the family have casual talk for a couple minutes.
"Hey Brady," Casey said. "Go into your room, there's a special surprise."
I heard footsteps come toward his room, and the door open.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Surprise!" I yelled as I jumped up from behind his bed.
"Ellie! Oh my goodness!"
We both ran to each other and had a long embrace after too long of not seeing each other.
"I can't believe you're here!" He exclaimed.
"Well, I am." I said as ear to ear smiles grew across both of our faces.
