(Quick A/N, I've decided thus story will be all in Usagi's P.O.V, seeing as she's the one who's falling in love with someone who isn't Mamo. (Y/N) will not be Tuxedo Mask, but instead the citizen who always seems to get swept up in the danger. Onto the story!)
I sat at home, staring blankly at my wall. Luna was speaking to me, but I couldn't be sure of what she was saying. I was thinking about that girl. Just then, I felt a scratch on my arm, and I squealed out in pain.
"Luna! Whatchu do that for?!" I whined. The black cat glared back at me.
"I am TRYING to tell you about how we need to find the other Guardians, and defeat Queen Nehelenia! Before she steals the energy of every human on this planet! What's got you so distracted today?!" I stared at the black cat, before looking back at the wall.
"I dunno..." That girl..
Luna sighed and paced around the table she was standing on.
"I don't know how I will get anywhere with you, you're supposed to be the Princess of the Moon Kingdom for goodness sake! We're supposed to be saving that kingdom, but we can't if you don't listen to me!" The feline plopped down on the table in exasperation, placing her paws over her head in a gesture I was positive was a face palm. Yep, face palm.
"Okay, okay Luna! I swear we'll get on track! But right now, mom wants me to go get some groceries, ughh..." I groaned, remembering what my mother told me. Luna nodded and we both stood. I made sure my brooch was on my shirt correctly, before grabbing my bag and heading out. Luna hopped into the white shoulder strap carrier, adding an extra weight to me so suddenly. I grunted in response and surprise, before pouting down at the cat. She just smiled at me, and after a second, we were out the door and onto the lovely streets of Tokyo. The sun was halfway setting, painting the sky a beautiful orange. It was almost like an amazing artist painted the skies. I sighed in awe, staring up at the sky, not paying attention. I didn't hear Luna trying to warn me until it was too late.
"Usagi, watch out!" I gasped as I suddenly bumped into another figure.
"What in the- Hey, watch where you're going bun-head!" Someone shouted, and I immediately recognized that voice. I looked up to be met with the face of Y/n. I frowned, crossing my arms at her.
"I told you! My name isn't bun-head, its Usagi Tsukino!!" Y/n rolled her eyes, her pretty (e/c) eyes....
"Yeah, yeah. So, did you get in trouble for that awful test score bun-head?" I growled, but gave up trying to retort, seeing as it seemed she wasn't going to stop calling me that horrendous name.
"That's none of your business, you-" I began to argue once again, when I noticed something. Her leg was in a cast, and she was shifting her entire body weight onto her good foot, where she also leaned on a crutch.
"What happened?" I asked, though I know full well what happened. Y/n looked at her leg, before shuffling uncomfortably.
"L-like you said, that's none of your business. I'm just... Lucky to be alive." She had muttered the last part of her sentence, resulting in me being unable to hear her well, but guessing as to what she said nonetheless. I felt a worry grow in my heart, and it sort of hurt to see her... Well... Hurt.
"Will you be okay?" I asked, unable to control my mouth. The girl jumped in shock, her (h/c) hair bouncing along with her. She looked around nervously, avoiding my gaze.
"I'll be fine. It'll get taken off in a few weeks. Why do you care bun-head?" I felt a tick mark on my face, and frowned at her.
"Well pardon me for caring!!" I cried, before shoving past her and stomping off.
"Jeez! How rude! This is how she acts when someone shows concern for her? Why I oughta..." I muttered under my breath as I made my way down the street, not once looking back at the girl I left behind. I got to the store and began picking up the items my mother needed, making sure I had everything, and even getting a few snacks for myself as well. I smiled as I happily walked over to the counter, placing my things down so they could be rung up. After paying and grabbing the grocery bag, I left the store, talking with Luna as I walked down the street. Just then, I bumped into another person.
"Gah! I'm so sorry! That's the second time today- I'm so clumsy..." I groaned, standing up and dusting myself off. I looked down at the girl I had bumped into. She had short blue hair, a sort of small frame, with blue eyes and blue framed glasses. She looked really smart.
"Oh, it's alright. I had my nose in a book anyways, it was partly my fault." She spoke, and I stuck my hand out to her to help her up. She thanked me with a smile.
"No no, it was definitely my fault! Ah, how can I make it up to you?" The girl shook her head.
"Oh no, you don't have to!" I shook my head and balled my hands into determined fists.
"But I must! How about I take you for smoothies? Or, to a bakery? How does that sound?" The girl stuttered, but I didn't let her get anywhere else with it.
"It's the least I can do! Come on, I know a great arcade around here!" I smiled, grabbing the girl by the arm and dragging her away down the street. She stumbled a little, but didn't complain.
"By the way, I'm Usagi Tsukino! What's yours?" The blue haired girl looked up at me and smiled, seeming a little shy.
"A-Ami. Ami Mizuno." I grinned at her, the two of us arriving at the arcade. I heard Luna whisper to me from the bag.
"Usagi, she's a sailor scout, I just know it!" I giggled, both at Ami and Luna.
"Well Ami, I can tell we're going to be the greatest of friends!" Ami smiled, still shy.
"Yeah. Me too."
(I say awful, you say rushed! Awful, rushed! Awful, rushed! It took so long but it's still not that good but that's okay because as long as you guys like it I like it and that's what matters.)
