In Love

A few days passed by and Natsu was dragged into his father's activities with Minerva like he expected.

He barely had any time together with Lucy. She too has been acting weird these past few days. She would ignore him and run away when he tried to talk to her. She even moved to Laki's room to sleep for the nights.

It had made him so frustrated.

He wasn't enjoying the least bit of the time he had wasted on doing things with Minerva.

Deep down, he had been longing to spend some time together with Lucy. He misses her comforting presence around him.

Since when has he started to feel like this?

"Natsu!"his father's voice awaken him from his daze.

His onyx eyes were widened for a second there from his surprise.

Not too long after, he return his father's call with a grumpy mumble.

"As I was saying, the planned engagement party will be in a few days or possibly one week. So spend as much time as you want together."

"What!"Natsu stood up, slamming his fists on the table. That action made others flinch from his outburst.

His eyes could be seen glowing red radiantly in anger. Close up, one could see his veins popping up on his forehead. His flame-resembled tattoos shone a dim orange and yellow.

How could his father arrange a marriage to someone he clearly don't love? And someone whom he haven't known for long.

He hadn't agree to this.
He is enraged by this.

He clench his fists.

He was told by his father that he could take his time with these kind things.

Even if he was to choose a wife, he will choose someone who is closely dear to his heart.

But why must it be so early?

Igneel had gone too far..

"How could you?!"he shouted in an infuriated tone.

"Natsu, calm down,"Igneel's tone was deep and serious.

"No! I'm not marrying her!"his sharp canines were already showing as he bare his teeth like an animal. Smoke and steam came out from the corners of his mouth; signaling the shooting of dragon flames out of his mouth. However, he suppress it, not letting it out.
It would be too troublesome.

Gradually, the heat in the room began to rise increasingly making the ones inside there sweat. The feeling of pressure rising made it difficult for them to even breath.

If it keep going on like this, things are gonna be set on fire and melt from the heat.

That is the strength of the son of the Fire Demon Dragon King.
It is something he inherited from his father. Something that he is proud of.
Growing up, this power of his is his pride others can't take away.

His E.N.D powers are soon to be unleashed, slowly releasing through small amounts.

"Natsu, control yourself!"Igneel demanded in a stern voice.

Natsu's breath steadied down, the room wasn't so hot anymore and the temperature dropped to a warmer one.

He closed his eyes to calm down before exiting the place dreadful to him.

His eyebrows are crossed in annoyance and irritation.

'It's my choice...'he put a hand on his chest where his heart beats, and grip his dress shirt layered with a vest, clenching it with a distressed expression and a frown on his face.
