Third Person’s P.O.V.

Artemis and Dick both take out their phones and see that they both got a message from Tamara.

‘Hey, I’m gonna be in the music room for half of lunch so I can work on something. I’ll see you at second half - Tammy’

The two look at each other.

“I’m gonna go meet her there. You gonna come or stay here.” Dick asked Artemis.

“In your dreams. She’s my friend and I’m not letting the two of you be alone one more second out of class” She retorted as they stood up and began walking to the music room.

As they got closer they could hear someones voice in the distance, and it sounded like they were singing a song.

“I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited but I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded hat for me, it isn't over”

The voice of the person singing seemed to be flowing through out the whole building but they were the only ones who could hear it.

They both looked at each other that like they read each others mind they ran to where the voice was coming from.

They stopped at a door that seemed to be holding the owner of the voice.

They slowly open the door and were shocked at what they was or to be more specific, who they saw.......

Tamara’s P.O.V.

 “Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you, too. Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said. Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead, yeah.”

The sound of my voice spread throughout the whole classroom as I sang my heart and soul out.

“Nothing compares, no worries or cares. Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made. Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste? Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you, too. Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said. Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead”

Deep breath in...now for the grand finally.

I finished the song and felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

I haven’t sung like that in ages, I would never sing in front of people, I always get stage fright.

“Oh My God!!”

“That was amazing” Artemis and Dick stated looking at me in disbelief.

Why didn’t I lock the door before I started singing? I though mentally face palming myself.

“Since when could you sing?” A voice said from the doorway.

Wait who’s voice was that?

We all turn to look at the door to see Mr Anderson standing there with a massive smile on his face.

“Ummm...... I-I don’t n-normally like to sing in front of people.” I answered shyly.

I could feel heat rising to my cheeks so I looked away.

Artemis came up to me and squeezed the life out of me.

“Can’t....breath....” I whispered as I tried to breath as my lungs were getting squashed.

“Oh sorry. But I didn’t know you could sing like that.” She commented as she let go of me.

“That was outstanding, so full of emotions. It actually seems like you have had the worse break up ever when you sing that song.” Mr Anderson announced with pride in his voice.

“Thanks but I’ve never actually been in a relationship before.”

"Then how do you pour your heart and soul into that song? I’ve never seen someone sing with as much passion as you did. Not even Adele herself!” He commented once more.

I stopped to think for a second before answering.

“Well normally I just learn the lyrics and once I know them of by heart and start to sing it I imagine that I’m the artist that wrote that song. I think of how they would have felt while singing or writing the song and then I just place that feeling into the song and the sound of my voice.” I said but then made myself confused with what I had just said.

I saw their puzzled and astonished faces and felt a bit embarrassed.

“It sound confusing but it works. Could I go get my lunch, I’m starving. And also please don’t mention this to anyone else. I’d rather people not know about it.” I pleaded with my best puppy dog eyes.

After about 3 seconds they all sigh then nod their heads.

“Yes! You guys are the best!” I yelled while hugging my two friends then flashing a bright smile towards my awesome music teacher.

I ran out of the room with my friends following close behind, I went straight to the cafeteria to grab some food.

I quickly got a banana and some chips, paid then ran to our table outside under a big oak tree.

It was always one of the quietest spots in the school during lunch and break, and that is why I loved it.

I sat down and by friends followed, I nearly forgot that they were following me.

 “I’ll be back in a couple of minutes, don’t try anything Grayson otherwise you know what happens.” Artemis said as she got up and started walked to, as I presume, the bathroom.

When she was out of ear shot deck let out a smirk and said, “Ooooh I’m so scared.”

You could practically see the sarcasm of his words and we started laughing.

“That reminds me. While you overprotective sister is gone-”

“She’s not my sister” I interrupted playfully poking him in the ribs.

“Well she sure acts like one. Anyway, I was wondering wether you would wan’t to come over to my places this Friday after school and work on the assignments that we got.” he asked hopefully.

“Sure, then we can get everything done and dusted.”

“Cool. Though we probably shouldn’t tell Artemis other wise she’ll flip and ruin all the fun” He whispered just before Artemis took a seat at our table.

She gave us a questioning look.

“What are you two hiding from me?” She asked while inspecting us.

Dick and I just look at each other before flashing a big smile at her.

“Nothing....” We said in union.

I can’t wait till Friday.
