Dick/Robin’s P.O.V. (At Mt. Justice)

“So, who was the girl you were with at the dance?” Wally asked, greeting me as I walked into the cave. He sped over and hung his arm on my shoulders. Great way to be greeted.

I can’t believe they are bringing this up.

“She was no one.” Lie

“Common, we saw you flirting, talking, and dancing with her.” Artemis backed him up. That was a change.

“I have no idea what you guys are talking about.” Okay that was a bad cover up. Everyone says that when their hiding something!!

“That was the worst lie ever.” Connor commented.

“Fine I was! Happy?!” I yelled. This was soooo frustrating.

“No.” They said in union. “We want details!” Wally yelled enthusiastically.

Great. Well, a little detail wont hurt.

“Wellllllll...... She had light brown hair that went down to her waist, the dress clung to her chest and fell freely down, making her look like and angel.” I reminisced at the memory.

“We talked and danced a little...........” “OMG!!!! YOU MADE OUT WITH HER!!! AND FULL ON!!!!! AWWWWWWW YOU GUYS ARE SOOOOOO CUTE!!!” M’gann interrupted me with a high-pitch squeal.

“M’GANN!!!” I yelled. I didn’t want them to know about that part.

She was practically jumping around the room. Geez. What’s with girls and all the over reactions with romance?

“Dude, way to go! Never thought you had it in you to go that far with a girl.” Wally nudged me with his elbow. I glared at him.

“How did you read my mind M’gann?” I asked.

“It was quite easy actually. Since you were so focused on the memory, I could see it too. Then I acidentally shared it with the rest of the team when I got excited.” She explained. She seemed slightly embarrassed.

Why is she embarrasses?! I’m the one that got embarrassed!!! Now everyone knows about my heated make-out session with the most amazing girl on the planet!!!

Actually, I’m not quite so sure. There’s my Angel from the dance, and then there’s Trance. But what about Tamara? God this is difficult. I’ll put Tamara and Angel in danger, and Trance is a villain. Nothing will work!!!! Why. Why. Why. Why. WHY!!!!!!!!

“So Rob. How was she?” Wally asked.

A rucket emerged from the team as they bombarded me with questions.

Suddenly, Batman just had to walk into the room at that very moment. Everyone stopped talking and watched him as he passed. I tried to shrink back behind everyone as he gave us all a weird look.

He walked out of the room and I let out the breath that I didn’t know I had been holding.

After Batman left, everything went silent. You could hear a pin drop in the silence. I know it doesn’t make sense, but the silence was deafening.

Connor broke the silence with the question that was probably on everyones mind.

“You haven’t told him yet, have you?” He had an actual smirk on his face, which, for superboy, was very rare. Who am I kidding. It was rare for him to show any emotion besides anger!

I shook my head and looked down at the floor, but my head quickly snapped up when I heard someone enter.

Batman had once again entered the room, but this time, he was walking towards us.
