Austin and I made our way out to the beach, which we could walk to since it wasn't very far. Tino, Aaron, and Phil decided to stay at the house.
"You two take you time!" Aaron called as we walked out the door. Austin shook his head and laughed. It took a few minutes to walk to the beach since it was a block or two away.

We walked out to the sandy beach. No one was out there except for us, which was unusual compared to the very busy beaches back in California. We found a nice spot to relax and spread out a blanket we had brought. I sat down and smiled.
"Nothing like sand between your toes huh?" I laughed.
"Yep, I've missed this beach." He smiled. "I used to come here all the time with my mom..." He trailed off.
I remembered about him telling me about his mom, who had passed away. "I'm sorry Aus..."
"It's okay." He smiled. I smiled andrelaxed against him.

We sat there for a while in silence. I lost track of time sitting there with Austin.
"So why don't you like airplanes, what did they ever do to you?" Austin laughed breaking the silence.
I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I don't care for being up thousands of feet in the air."
"You'll get used to it eventually." He smiled.
"Whatever." We both laughed. I laid on my stomache and played with the smooth sand on the edge of the blanked, drawing random shapes and pilling up small mounds of it. Austin watched me as I continued with drawing things.
"What are you doing?" He smiled.
"Drawing." I smiled and drew a small, veru lopsided stick person. "Why?" I laughed.
"Because I'm curious." He grinned.
I pushed myself up and looked out to the water and watched the waves crash over as the sunset was disappearing. Austin wrapped his arms around me and I smiled. This was sappy, like some kind of old movie, but I loved it. Every minute I spend with him it's something new to me. He began trailing kisses from my cheek to my neck. I smiled and turned around to him.
"What are you doing?" I laughed kissing him before he could answer.
He grinned when I pulled away. "Same thing as always." He pulled me close to him and kissed me again. I smiled and kissed him back.
"Bad time?" I heard someone call from behind us.
"Really Tino?!" I shouted as he grinned smugly. Phil and Aaron trailed behind him laughing.
"Yeah, we came out here to see if you two were okay." He shrugged. "You've been gone for like an hour."
"It's been that long already?" I looked at my phone.
"Plus, we're stuck in a debate of what to have for dinner." Aaron added.
"Burgers? Chicken? I don't care just pick something!" I laughed and got up. Austin picked up the blanket and we headed back for the house.
"Let's do burgers." Phil suggested.
"Fine by me but I think Austin will be to busy doing Al-" Tino began only to be cut off my Austin.
"I swear Tino that's not funny anymore!" He growled. I laughed a bit and smiled.
"Okay so that was a bit out of line. But seriously, burgers are fine." Tino grinned.
