3 Grocery Store Greetings

Grayson's POV

"Dude, how do we not have any milk?" I asked Ethan... Who was caring a huge glass of milk.

I moaned, "Nevermind."

"Sorry man," he said drinking some of it. He collapsed on the couch and started to watch some TV.

"Are you feeling okay? You just seem so calm?" I rubbed my face, still tired from sleep.

"Nah, I just don't really want to do anything today."

"Okay, I'm going to go to the store for milk. Do we need anything else?"

"Not that I know of. If I remember anything, I'll let you know,"He said mesmerized by what was on the TV.

I shook my head and went back into my room. I grabbed some clothes and changed. Then I went to the bathroom and freshened up. I still had a bed head but I didn't really care at this point. I grabbed my car keys and drove down to the nearest store.

I walked down the aisle's trying to see if we needed anything. Well, we didn't need anything, but I saw foods that I loved so of course I had to grab them. My mouth watered when I found the donuts. Every Saturday morning, me and dad used to go get donuts. I would get a chocolate glazed donut with sprinkles and dad would get a red velvet donut with a strawberry glaze on it. I took a few steps back and ran into someone. I turned around and saw that I made the person spill their drink.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," I looked at the... Girl.

She was laughing, "oh the horror," She giggled.

"Uhm?" I didn't really know what to say.

"It's okay," She said, "I'm a little sarcastic sometimes. But really don't worry about it."

To be honest, she was really beautiful. She had long brown hair that ended at her mid back. Her eyes were a piercing blue that stayed intense but soft. She had really tan skin like she was outside a lot too. I was so attracted to her, I loved it. I never really got these feelings for girls. Obviously, I had feelings, but none like this.

"Hello?" She said waving.

Realizing I was staring, "Oh, sorry. Ah... What?" I gave a nervous laugh.

"Look, I know I'm beautiful but you could at least pay attention to me," Her laugh was like music to my ears.

"Oh... Ah," Fuck, I was so dumbfounded.

"Are you in high school?" She asked me.

"No-yeah. Yes. I am. Well, not yet. Tomorrow I will....though,"I mentally slapped myself in the face.

"Oh cool, are you going to Rock Chester?" She asked me.

"Yup," I said popping the p.

"Cool, maybe I'll see you around," She winked and started to walk away.

She winked at me. And she wants to see me again. I stood there in the middle of the aisle, just staring at the donuts.

"What the hell just happened?" I said to myself.
