Grayson's POV

I cut open one of my boxes with the cardboard opener cutter thingie. I really need to figure out the name of this thing.

"Gray!" Ethan called from the kitchen.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"This is disgusting. Why is there underwear in the kitchen box?"

I broke out laughing, "I don't know!"

"Bullshit!"

And that was all that was spoken for a while between us.

We finally could have our own rooms. Growing up, we always shared a room but since we moved out, we decided to get our own rooms. It was kind of weird. We always fought to get our own rooms, but now that we're here doing it... I don't think I like it.

"Dude, you wanna go get some pizza?" I turned around and saw Ethan leaning against the door frame messing with the door knob.

"Sure, that sounds fine," I said turning back around, making my bed.

"Room looks nice bro, you're driving."

"Thanks," I said. A pair of keys were thrown on my bed.

I grabbed them and side my phone into my pocket. We started to walk to our car.

"Dude, we should've gotten an apartment on ground level."

"We should've known better," I laughed knowing what he was going to do.

"I'll give you five bucks that I won't break my foot jumping from here down to the ground," Ethan sounded excited. Well, he was. He always loved doing that stuff.

"Shit no, you think I have that money?" I laughed nudging him.

"True, I'm going to do it anyways," he took a step back to get some momentum.

"You're the stupidest person I've ever met," I shook my head laughing, "I'll meet you down there."

"Make sure you have 911 ready!" he said as I walked down the stairs.

I would've joined him but I was too tired to horseplay right now. I just wanted food and sleep like every other 17 year old.

About half way down the stairs I saw Ethan fall from the top. I peered over the railing looking down at him. He was sitting on the ground.. Well laying.

"Eth, are you dead?"

"I wish I was!" He yelled out in pain.

"Dumbass," I laughed.

I ran down the stairs, jumping from the last set of them. I jogged over to him. He was holding his right ankle.

"You probably sprained it," I shook my head.

"You're probably right," He winced.

"C'mon, let's go get you to the hospital,"He reached out his hand I took it pulling him up.

He wrapped his arm around me for support and wobbled over to the car with me. I opened the passenger door and helped him in.

"Gray," Ethan said.

"What?" I said slamming my door.

"Can we go get pizza first?"

I put the key in the ignition and turned it. My car roared to life.

"Duh, do you seriously think I was going to go the hospital without food? Who knows how long we're going to be there. Besides, Pizza Shoppe might be closed by the time we get out of the hospital."

"I like the way you think."

"I know, I think like an idiot."

"No, we think like idiots."

"Great minds think alike," Ethan patted his temple with his finger.

"Dumb minds think alike,"I put the jeep in reverse and pulled out of our parking spot.
