Klaus POV

This morning i woke up to the smell of breakfast. i got up and dress in my usual, dark shirt and blue jeans , and when to the kitchen to see who was cooking.

when i got the the kitchen i saw Elena in Kol's shirt cooking breakfast." good morning, love . what are you cooking?" i ask . she jumps a little but replies

" eggs and bacon." she smiles and finished her food. taking out two plate and filling them up. she hands me one and we eat and talk for a while.

" Klaus , i have a question " she say looking a little nervous.

" yes love?" i reply

" are we friends?" she finally says.

" of course we are , we would have been before if those Salvatore brothers weren't in the way?" i say with a real smile. 

" cool, friends then. well i have to get back to Kol, farewell , Nik" she says running up the stairs. i smile at the her words. then it hit me, she called me Nik, and i liked it. I guess this i a start to a amazing friendship.
