Prom?

All that was heard in the room were mine and Laurens' heavy breathing, putting my sweatshirt back on and throwing myself back onto one of the chairs, Lauren following suite. We just spent 10 minutes carrying the huge bear up the school stairwell and into the music room and i was breaking a sweat.

Today I'm planning on asking my girlfriend, Dinah, to prom but I'm scared of her response, lately we've been arguing over me spending to much time at soccer practice, thinking I'm secretly talking to someone else, but the truth is I've just been planning this promposal  for the past week. I had to set up everything before lunch was over.

Dinah had music for her next period. I asked her teacher if it was okay for me to do my promposal during his class and he was okay with it. As I finished setting up the camera, microphone stand and lights, I walked to the cafeteria to go meet up Dinah and walk her to class. Walking up to the table I seen our friends Normani, ally and Lauren had came back after she helped me with the bear. "hey baby" I kissed Dinah but she pulled away "where were you?" She asked. "Soccer practice, it was last minute" she looked at me with her eyebrow raised "mhmm whatever" she rolled her eyes.

The bell rang and we were walking to class, we passed by a poster that said BUY YOUR PROM TICKETS NOW! IN ROOM N-7 i looked over at Dinah and she sighed and turned away from me. "Babe?" I called her. She hummed in response "I love you" she looked at me and frowned "then stop lying and tell me the truth" she answered. Running my hand through my hair, I grabbed her hand and spun her around to look at me. Inching to her lips so that we were centimeters apart. "It's you and only you" I whispered to her.

As she walked into class, I acted as if I were walking to my class but I snuck into the door were I had the curtain covered so no one was able to see me. The teacher announced to the class that there was a surprise performance, meaning me, as the music started playing, the curtain dropped when i began singing. click the song above. This was dinahs favorite song and she was in shock when she saw it was me.

Ohh pretty baby and the music faded away. I walked up to dinahs chair. "I know this is your dream baby, and I spent all my time after school and during soccer practice planning it for you." I walked back to were the bear was and as I stood under the lights, I asked them to turn off the lights then flipped on the lights above me. I heard Dinah gasp and the whole class awwed. In those bright lights was the word Prom? Spelled out. Dinah got up from her chair and came up to me. Sharing the most passionate kiss we've had in a while, we pulled away. "Yes" she answered me. "And I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating baby" she apologized. "I love you and thank you" smiling "I love you too"
