Hey y'all! Here's another oneshot! If you don't know what a school idol is, it's basically a group of highschool girls who makes songs and dances. Very popular in Japan! Hope you enjoy! Also this is a Gene x reader.

I sat quietly as I watched my girlfriend, y/n, practice with her friends for their next live show. You see, y/n here is a school idol along with the others.

They started the group because they wanted to save the school since it was being closed down due to lack of students.

(A/n: basically, the school was losing students and apparently if you watched love live, Honoka Kousaka had found some sort of billboard where their were three students, school idol to be exact, performing and she thought that maybe being school idol will help save their school)

But, good thing they actually save the school.

"Okay everyone! That's it for today, Althea! Can you be able to make the music for the song today?" Their choreographer and other member of the group, Carmela asked.

"Yeah! I'll be able to make it today," Althea answered as she wipes her face with her pink handkerchief.

"How 'bout you Danna and Pauline? Will you be able to make the lyrics today?" She asked.

"Yeah! We can make it today!" Both answered.

"Well, tomorrow is another practice and I suggest to sleep early today so we could have an early practice tomorrow. See you all tomorrow!" Carmela exclaimed.

"Bye guys!"

"See you tomorrow y'all!"

Finally! Practice is now finished, we can finally go home. I went near y/n, who was just sitting, drinking a bottle of water.

"You were all good out there," I said.

"Thanks.." she smiled.

"Should we go home? Carmela did say you guys should have plenty of energy tomorrow,"

"Yeah, let's go..." I pulled her up and carried both our backpacks as we exit the rooftop.

(A/n: In love live, the girls were mostly practicing on the rooftop since there are other clubs who uses the auditorium, the court and etc.)

~Time skip to y/n's house~

"I guess this is my stop.." y/n said as we stopped by in front of her house.

"Yeah, I guess so..." I was honestly kinda sad since I never really get to spend time with her due to all the school idol work she's been doing. But, if it makes her happy, then I'm happy.

"Look, sorry Gene for not hanging out with you much, because... All these school idol work has to be done and my schedule pretty full.." she said as she looked down. I lifted her chin up and gave her a small kiss on the lips.

"It's okay! If being a school idol makes you happy, then, I'm happy!" She smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you.."

"Your welcome.."

She started to walked to the front door as I was about to take my leave.

"Hey Gene!" I turned to look at her.

"Yeah?"

"Will you be able to come for practice tomorrow?"

"Sure, I'll go! Well I'll seeya tomorrow okay?"

"Yeah.. bye!"

"Bye!" I smiled happily as I leave, going to my last destination, my home.
