Epilogue

Hey everyone, thanks for the 4K reads! I got a lot of requests to write an epilogue, so here it is! I haven't seen this story in a long time, so please 'bear' with me. It's literally one year after I promised someone I would post the epilogue, so apologies XD I will edit the whole book when I have the time, because I wrote this when I was twelve and I'm fifteen now, so lots of cringy stuff needs to be replaced :)

Present-

"Are you okay?" Your eyelids fluttered open after hearing a young girl's voice.

A bright light shone upon your skin, and you had to blink a few times to adjust to the brightness.

"Miss, should I get someone for you?" You laid your eyes upon the girl. You studied her features, and came to a conclusion.

She looked just like you, but younger.

"It's okay. Thank you for asking. May I ask for your name?" You were apparently lying down on the ground, so you slowly stood up.

"It's (L/N) (F/L), miss." You gasped. The exact same name as you.

"That's a lovely name. May I ask where we are?" You finally took the effort to look around you, but all you saw was...Darkness?

"We're inside of the flow." The flow? What was this replica of you talking about?

"The flow?" You tilted your head and asked.

"It's the place where we choose our timelines and destinies." Okay, it made no sense anymore.

"May I ask what I am doing here?" You only remembered...A round room with..A huge girl? And some weird people..Holograms?

"Well, there are a few reasons as to why you are here. You're either dead, or you're an esper." What? What the fuck?

"I'm dead?" Well, you weren't an esper, that's for sure.

"It seems so. Should I explain the concept of a 'flow' to you?" Only now, you noticed the girl was wearing a spooky white dress that faded into white smoke.

A/N: If you have played the game Zero Escape, you know what the concept of the flow is. You can skip this part until I tell you again. If you don't know, then please proceed.

"We live in an universe, but this is not the only universe. There are many more, and you can even create more. Different timelines happen there, but with the same persons. Let's say for example, you marry your boyfriend in this timeline, but your boyfriend could be dead in another timeline. Here in the flow, we espers can choose a specific moment in one of the many timelines, and transfer our minds to the bodies of our persons there. If you're in the flow and you are a dead person, you get the chance to choose to live one more time, but only once." The girl said as she smiled at you.

"I can..Relive my life?" Still confused, you asked the girl your question.

"Yeah, but only if you want to. I'm not forcing you to choose another life." She smiled.

"Well.." If there is another you living happily with Gundam, then you'd like to live that life.

Wait. Who is Gundam?

"Hey, are you sure that you're real? I mean, aren't you just a part of my imaginary visions? There's no way you can go back to being alive!" This dream sure was freaky.

"Haa..Why don't you believe me..Don't you want to go back to your boyfriend? I'm sure he's quite lonely, even though he has all those hamsters surrounding him."

Hamsters? Boyfriend?

"I'm sorry? I don't have a boy–" Gundam. Of course, she means Gundam. The boy with the purple scarf. The shy one with the funny hamsters. The one who talks so weirdly, yet you somehow understand why he talks like that.

Is Gundam..Your boyfriend?

"Hey, we need to be a bit more realistic here. This idea of your flow sounds like fun, and having a dark lord as my boyfriend sounds like fun too, but that's not really realistic, is it? No one gets to live such a good life." You sighed, this conversation was going nowhere.

"So you want a timeline where Gundam is your boyfriend, and where you both are still alive?" The girl looked at you for confirmation.

"..Uh, sure? If me nodding yes makes you happy, then go ahead." You nodded.

"Moving (Y/N) to timeline 176H. Location, Cherry Blossom High School, classroom 2-B. Time, 9 AM, 18 September 20XX. Confirmed, getting ready to start the process now." The girl looked up into the 'sky' and spoke loud and clear, as if there was another person facing her.

You suddenly felt dizzy, and had to sit down.

"Wha–, what?" You could feel yourself slowly slipping in and out of consciousness, before giving into the darkness completely.

Present

"Please welcome the new transfer student, everyone!" The blue haired teacher gestured you to bow and introduce yourself.

"Hello everyone, I'm (L/N) (F/N) and I'm from Osaka! I just moved here for my dad's work, so please take care of me!" You introduced and bowed before facing the class again.

"Let's see..You can sit next to Gundam! Gundam, please raise your hand so (F/N) will know where to sit!" You looked around the class until your eyes fell upon a rather pale boy sitting all the way at the back of the classroom. He was wearing the standard school uniform, but with a small, ripped purple scarf with hamster patterns on it.

He looked cute.

You walked to the seat next to him and sat down, placing your book bag beside your desk before turning to Gundam.

"Nice to meet you, I'm (F/N). I really like your scarf!" The boy hid himself in said scarf before his muffled voice spoke.

"Hey, I'm Gundam, but everyone calls me the dark lord for some reason." You could see a faint blush rising above his scarf.

You smiled before turning your attention to the teacher.
