The sound of pots clashing and obnoxious laughing woke me up the next morning. That was Stacey no doubt. I would know her laugh anywhere. Strangely I heard the sound of other voices. But I was more focused on the fact that I was still exhausted and Stacey woke me up. I slept awful. The nightmare had come back again causing me to wake up screaming into my pillow, my body drenched in sweat. I put my oversized black framed glasses on and made my way down the stairs.

“Stacey, can you keep it down? You woke me up!” I said groggily. I reached the bottom of the stairs and turned into the living room. I stopped dead in my tracks. Looking at me were five, incredibly cute boys. Why was One Direction in my living room?! I stood there like an idiot trying to comprehend what was going on. Maybe I was so groggy that I was just seeing things. I should just go back to bed.

“Wha- I’m going back to bed.” I turned around to go up the stairs only to run into Stacey.

“No you’re not! Say hi Eve.” Stacey pushed me over towards the living room. I looked down at what I was wearing; a long sleeve shirt and boxer shorts.

“Stacey, you could’ve told me we had company. I look like a mess!” I whined completely annoyed.

“Oh, don’t worry babe. You look fine,” said Louis. I blushed. Stacey came over and handed me a cup of orange juice.

“The boys came over to give us this,” Stacey held up a huge and expensive looking gift basket. It had some kitchen utensils and plates and some gourmet looking foods.

“Aw that’s really sweet,” I said gratefully. “Thanks so much!”

“It’s no problem,” said Harry smiling at me. Oh, Harry. He looked as gorgeous as ever. I started to get butterflies. Wait. I, Evelyn Taylor, was getting butterflies over a guy?

                “What time is it Stace?”

“It’s one o’clock,” she said smirking.

I choked on my orange juice. “What time?” I never slept in that late. Ever. The latest I had ever gotten up was ten in the morning.

“You heard me,” laughed Stacey. “I went to the store while you were sleeping and when I got back these lovely boys were on the porch. And…” Stacey motioned for someone to come out of the kitchen. “Guess who I found at the store!”

Just then a familiar face walked into the living room.

“Andre!” I yelled and ran up to give him a hug. Andre had been a close friend since I was four. “What are you doing here?”

“Oh, just backpacking around Europe. I’m staying over at this hotel a couple of blocks down. Kate’s there too.” Kate is Andre’s girlfriend.

“Well this is awesome! Two surprise visits in one morning!” I turned back to the boys and locked eyes with Harry. He smiled and kept looking while I blushed and quickly turned my head away.

“Why don’t we go out today? It’s beautiful out and it would be nice to get a feel of London more,” said Stacey. What was really surprising was that she wasn’t fangirling in front of One Direction. Especially since they were sitting in our living room.
