Phoebe's P.O.V
Everything was a blur. I kept feeling that stinging and throbbing all over my body. I was scared to even look down.
Instead I looked beside me to see my motorcycle beat and broken. Then a body. Kind've looked like Ethan... That can't be him.
I wanted to call out to him, but nothing left my mouth. Ethan. Is he dead. Omg! What if he's dead! It'll be because of me! He can't be! I just started to get to know him!
I weakly lifted my arms and slipped off my helmet. And might I add, it hurt like a bitch. But nothing compared to what I felt in my heart.
I looked to my right and saw a guy rushing over and kneeling down beside me checking my pulse.
"P-le-lease, ch-eck if h-he's o-k." I managed to ask but my voice was raspy and raw. It hurt, so much. He nodded understanding as he quickly rushed over and got down on he knees and checked his pulse.
"He has a faint pulse, but his head is bleeding pretty badly on his head and stoma- omg! A piece of a mirror punctured his side. What do I do!"
"Don't pulling it out!" I yelled immediately regretting it. The guy ripped off his shirt and tied it around Ethan's waist then took off his hat, then placing in it on his head putting pressure on it.
"Omg! Phoebe!" I closed my eyes tight as I opened to see my mother running over tears in her eyes. "Phoebe what happened.
I tried sitting up but I couldn't. Inside I lived in only for it to drop back to the ground. A whole new pain greeted me as soon as my hand hit the ground. My head started to spin as I began to cry.
I looked at my mother who was now beside me crying. She was saying something but I couldn't hear it. Then my ear began to ring.
"She cheated mom. She cheated. I'm sorry."
"No honey, you shouldn't be sorry, it must be a mistake. She wouldn't do that." A tear escaped her eye.
"Mom. I love you." I said. Then my mind went blank.
Flashback
"Mommy! I can spell my name!" I ran out of the school excitingly with a piece of paper in my hands.
"Really honey? That's amazing! Let's see." She said taking the picture from my hands examining it. "Wow, are you sure that my daughters in kindergarten? This looks like grade 12's work!"
"Im smart mommy! I can also count to ten!" I said proudly rasing both of my hands to start showing her. "One, two, twee, fou, ive, six, even, ate, nine, ten!"
"Wow! That's amazing my girl! Let's go celebrate and get you a brand new toy!"
"Okay!" I exclaimed excitingly as I took my mom's hand in mine and we both walked to our car.
(Next flashback)
"Laura! Stop please! I-m dying!" I pleaded while laughing as my best friend attacked my stomach.
"Not until you say that I'm the chocolate queen!" She said giggling slightly as she continued to tickle me.
"Fine! Your the chocolate queen! I'm going to pee!" I yelled as she rolled off the bed laughing.
"Kids." My mom looked at us at the doorway nearly giggling herself at our childish behavior.
"I'm no kid." I crossed my arms, still out of breath. "I'm eight!" I protested.
"Doesn't matter, you'll always be my baby." She said as she wrapped me in a hug. I just remembered that I needed the bathroom.
"I need to pee! Someone tickled me to hard." I aid emphasizing someone as I playfully glared at Laura. She just smiled in return.
