In all actuality, it took me a week before I even remembered to think of Brian's friends offer but when dad beat the hell out of me after him and mom got into a horrible fight I suddenly remembered and even though I knew it would make Kenna all sorts of crazy I had to ask her if she knew how to get ahold of Brian's friend Johnny...which in turn meant I had to tell her what happened that day when he gave me a ride home. "I KNEW IT!" she cackled happily after I spilled my guts to her one day at the side of her parents' pool where we were laying in the sun. "Oh my god Kenna it's not like that!" I laughed "He saw dad rough house me a little and put two and two together. He's not stupid after all...he's just...I don't know, being caring I guess" I trailed off as I pushed up off my stomach and flipped to my back. "MAC! YOUR BROTHER IS HERE!" her mom called out the window a few minutes later sending Kenna into fits of mischievous giggles and my stomach into flip flops. "Come on Ash! Let's go say hiiiiiiii!" she sang out in a teasing manner as she tugged me up with her. "No I'm okay out here" I stated with what I hoped was a calm voice when in truth my insides were a mess at the thought of seeing Brian again. I finally admitted to myself that I was crushing hard on him beyond the whole "famous rock star/Synyster Gates" thing and the fact that he was unobtainable in so many ways just infuriated me even further so I figured it was best to just stay away from him.

"There's my little shithead" I heard Brian state from somewhere behind me a moment later. Kenna squealed happily and came flying off the lounge chair to hug him while I lay stone still, trying to calm myself down enough to crane my neck backwards and wave at him in a quick, friendly manner. "Hey trouble" Brian stated as he nodded his head at me, a small smirk playing at his lips before he turned his attention back to their dad and began talking low about something. Kenna thankfully waited until Brian walked back inside before coming unglued into a fit of giggles and ear to ear smiles. "Oh my god Ash! He gave you a nickname!" she teased in quiet awe, her brown eyes which were so much like her brothers glinting in the sun as she squeezed down next to me and batted her eyes at me. "Seriously Kenna?! He called me trouble! It's nothing worth freaking out over!" I stated with fake boredom. Kenna rolled her eyes and nudged her shoulder into mine "Brian doesn't give nicknames to just anyone!" I turned to Kenna and tried to give her a hard stare but the look on her face had me chuckling and hugging her to me more. "I swear Kenna I don't know what I'm going to do with you!" I laughed as we settled into the chaise lounge easier. "I think you should start flirting with him...I want to see what happens!" she whispered almost evilly in my ear a moment later as I attempted to take a drink of lemonade. After choking for a moment I shot her a wide eyed look and looked back at the house fearfully, wanting to make sure we weren't being listened to. "Why on earth would you want me to do that?!" I hissed quietly under my breath. "Because I'd rather have you as my sister in law than Monique" Kenna stated evenly, as if she was discussing the weather instead of me seducing her brother.

"Kenna I will always be your sister no matter what. I don't need to throw myself at your brother like a silly fan girl to make that true. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pee!" I laughed as I made my way back into the house and towards the closest bathroom. I looked around the kitchen as soon as I entered the house and scratched my head; the house was way too quiet, giving me no indication where her parents or her brother for that matter were. "Oh well" I mumbled quietly to myself as I entered the bathroom and did my business. After doing the usual checking over of my hair and face in the mirror I snapped off the light and stepped out...and right into Brian's chest! "Shit you scared me!" I exclaimed in quiet shock as I held my hand over my heart and stomach, trying to calm myself from almost screaming and punching him just out of being scared almost half to death. "Sorry" he smirked at me as I made a move to walk around him but Brian just moved into my line of escape. "Brian what are you doing?" I stated quietly, fear and excitement starting to fill my gut as he took a step towards me and cupped my face softly in one hand. "I have absolutely no fucking clue" he muttered hoarsely before sealing his lips against mine softly...seductively. All logic and reasoning flew out of my head the second his warm, silky lips touched mine instead causing me to take hold of his shirt lightly and press my body into his more. Vaguely I felt his other hand slide around my hip and pull my lower half into him but I was concentrating more on the feel of his tongue caressing mine in a manner that was completely illegal. I don't know how long we would have stood there kissing if we hadn't heard the softest giggle coming from the kitchen a second later. We both jumped as if shot and saw Kenna standing there with a mischievous smile on her face and laughter in her eyes. "Fuck" Brian muttered, his fingers ramming through his hair angrily as he looked at me quickly before walking towards his sister, sticking his tattooed finger in her face. "Don't...say...a...fucking...THING...Mac! I swear to god!" he bit out almost angrily before turning and storming out of the house and straight for his car.
