What happens next?

Chapter 6

Kensi's pov

I proposed that we could pretend to be sick but I knew we couldn't have done that. It was just a wish spoken out loud. Deeks was really shocked and promptly asked me if I was okay. I told him that I was happy and hugged me so tight I could barely breathe. I was totally taken by surprise. Deeks told me that he was glad that I'm happy. It felt really good to be loved. I know my mom and my team love me but in a platonic way. The point is it felt good to be loved by a man. Especially because I haven't had that great experiences with men in my life. I was so glad to have a man like Deeks by my side! I asked him how he was feeling and he replied with a cheeky smile "I'm good if you're good.". That made me burst out into laughter. He always knew how to make me laugh. It felt like we were soulmates. My "soulmate" took my hand and helped me to get out of the bed. We kissed one last time before we got dressed.

Deeks's pov

"Fern, you look beautiful today. But you know that you always look beautiful, don't ya?" I complimented her. Kensi smiled and said "You don't look bad yourself, Max!". She always knows how to make me smile. I think she's my soulmate..

We walked outside into the wonderful morning light. After we got into the car, Kensi coughed slightly and looked strangely at me. "What is it?" I asked her. "Well.. We won't walk into the office together, will we? I think it would be quite suspicious if we.. You know..?". She hesitated. "Right.. I'll just go first and after like.. 15 minutes you follow, okay?" I proposed. "Yes, that'll be okay. But try to act normal. If that's even possible for you." She answered in a cocky voice. "Hey, what are you implying there?" I asked her. "Öhm.. Nothing." She said. "Wait, no, you can't just.." Before I could finish my sentence, she hit me in the arm. "Ouch! What was that for?" I cried out. "Shut up Deeks!" She said and looked straight ahead at the street. I think she was nervous. It's not often that Kensi is nervous. Does that mean she is serious about our thing? I hope so!

Kensi's pov

Deeks and I were pranking in the car. I was so nervous, I didn't know how to act in front of the team. I know they will notice that something's changed. When we arrived at the office, Deeks said "See you in 15, sugarbear." and wanted to hug me, but I pushed him away. "Don't do that in public!". I was so furious! How could he do that in public?! If someone saw us..

Deeks apologized and exited the car. I watched him walking into the office and then I pulled away to find a parking lot. The day started so great and now we already had our first fight.. I hope we can solve it tonight. But now I have to concentrate on my work.

So. That was it. The flashback, written by me. I hope it'll get way better in the show though! I'm not that comfortable with this chapter, I think it's not well written but I wanted to publish it anyways. Thank you guys so much for reading, I really appreciate it! I promise you'll be seeing more of me. Especially when I go get ice cream on my pick-up truck. Or when I drag a chair over the carpet so it looks like I vacuumed. Sorry, I had to say that :DD
