"You can do better than that!"
My laughter echoed through out the cavernous room.

A jet of red light came traveling straight towards me, cutting my mirth short. I stumbled backwards, and then I felt it- the veil of death.

Sucking in what I knew to be my last breath, I resigned myself to the end. In a matter of seconds I would be back with them-Lily and James, Marlene. At the thought of her, a plethora of memories came rushing back, I allowed them to envelop me as I fell to my death.

Death was never something that I had given much thought to, to me it just meant the end, another faze in existence. But whatever I imagined it to be, it wasn't this.

I was in a room, the same room I'd just left. It was empty, and quiet, to quiet. That was until the door slammed open.

"Padfoot, Padfoot! Where are you Pads?!" The panic!ed yell pierced the room.

There was only one person in this world who called me that, and whom ever was yelling was most certainly not Remus. This world, this world. That world, I corrected myself, I was somewhere completely different, where, I knew not.
