Alrik's POV

The human world was a strange place, they interact with each other far differently than hounds do... I pounder my thoughts as I float along with Claire, her black blue hair bounced with each step she took I was in awe of her body... our child would be strong and toned a good benefit to the hounds. Yet how would I go about taking her... I had to wait until she awakens before I can present myself to her, decisions, decisions...

No matter, until she feels her power I will linger to her as a shadow protecting her from afar.

Following the day she found herself reading alone in a park, the wind teasing the pages of the book as she tries to hold them down. I watch quietly beside her gazing in curiosity. What did a book mean to her? "Wolfsbane" curios? Why read about a plant? I gazed closely at the words and read along her side, it seems this is a fantasy; very interesting.

"Oi Claire!"

I gaze up to see a young lad waving at Claire, his brown hair seemed to drape down jut past his forehead into a small fraction of bangs whist the rest shagged around his head at ear length. I watched as Claire's brown eyes lit up as she watched him trot over. A warm bubbly sensation waved over my being, what could it mean? I had never felt a feeling this... this weird before? Perhaps she was waking? No it's couldn't be, she hasn't felt my true presence; yet still what was this?

"I figured I would find you here, which book are you stuck with now?"

She giggled and the feelings grew, I grimaced. "Wolfsbane, a tale of love and magic... I just had to continue after reading Nightshade, but anyways how are you Brad?"

"Oh just fine now that I have run into you... did you maybe want to go on a walk with me?"

"Sounds like a wonderful idea!"

This boy? Who was he? More importantly who was he to her? They walked along the forest paths for what has seemed like hours maybe, talking about school, life, future and their dreams. Claire talked about finding love and I felt an ache in my chest as she spoke, it wasn't like that bubbly feeling before; it was more longing and pleading... I didn't like it, if I guess that's what love is then I know it is not for a demon such as myself.

"So Brad, Mr. mischievous any big plans for the long weekend?"

He laughed, "was going to rent out a huge cottage house on a massive lake and throw a party, why; you wanna come be dastardly with me?"

Claire giggled and leaned on his shoulder, I wasn't to fond of the action but I digress she had little time left before I moved into the picture.

"I mean only if you want me there Brad."

He smiled at her, "I always want you around..."

"Oh really? How so?"

He blushed and the aching feeling increased in her, my chest felt so strained... it was disgusting, yet her eyes seemed to swoon over him; it's as if she was mesmerized... This was all a waste of time to me, yet to her it seemed as if time had slowed down. The boy gazed into her eyes as he slowly moved over her, pinning her back against the grass his hands caressing her body... she seemed so obedient with his touch that her body almost knew to meld into his, lifting her leg to meet his waist as he gently kissed her neck.

My chest was on fire I have to stop this nonsense... ghosting myself from her Ora I glided along the ground kicking up dirt and dust within my trail, once I felt the breeze of the gentle wind I glided towards them dragging the dust into their faces. They scurried apart from each other and the feeling within subsided. What was it?! What are these feelings in my being?
