Huitaek let out a sigh when the line started to beep, indicating that Hyojong's phone was already in use. He hung it up and put his phone away.
'I don't know why I even bothered,' Huitaek said as he walked towards his house with his head down.

"I-I-I-I-Ilhoon," Hyojong stuttered.
"Did you not hear me?" The man on the other line asked.
"I didn't steal from you honestly," Hyojong said with fear. He had a very bad history with Ilhoon, him being his ex and all.
"You're the only person who knew about this stash and now it's gone."
"Ilhoon, I would never steal from you."
"You have before."
"That was before, I don't even do snow anymore."
"I had more than just snow in there and you know that."
"Ilhoon I swear I didn't take anything," Hyojong said, getting more and more scared as the conversation continued.
"Well, I'm fucking coming to your house to check."
"Ilhoon no-"

Hyojong looked at his phone, his heart beating at an incredible rate. He was so scared what Ilhoon might do. He had to get out of here.

Huitaek was kicking a pebble down the street, hanging his head down, not even bothering to watch where he was going. He was only focused on the tiny rock, just trying not to think about anything else.
Suddenly Huitaek felt his body hit something. He instantly looked up to see him. Hyojong was on the ground, looking up at Huitaek with wide eyes, he looked terrified. They were at the same corner they had met at before.
"Hyojong," Huitaek mumbled. He was in shock by Hyojong's appearance.
"Can you help me?" Hyojong asked as he got up frantically.
"Uh, yeah with what?" Huitaek asked, feeling a bit worried for the boy.
"I need a place to stay for a little while," Hyojong said as he looked back paranoia taking over him. "Can I come to your house?"
Huitaek was a little confused about Hyojong's question, he didn't understand why the boy wanted to go to his house.
"Yeah, let's go," Huitaek said without thinking at all.
Hyojong grabbed Huitaek's hand, gripping it tightly. Huitaek could feel Hyojong's body shaking now, he didn't understand why he was shaking but he had a sense of pity for the boy. Hyojong's head was done as he tried to take in deep breaths without Huitaek noticing, but he did notice. He noticed how scared and nervous Hyojong was just by his unrude behavior.
A few more minutes of walking continued in silence before they got to Huitaek's house. He looked at Hyojong who looked exhausted. Huitaek opened the door and dragged Hyojonng in. The boy looked around with curiosity, as Huitaek let go of his hand.
"Uh, do you want something to drink?" Huitaek asked nervously, not sure if he believed that Hyojong was in his house right now.
"Water would be fine," Hyojong said, his body a bit shaky as he fiddled with his fingers.
Huitaek nodded and filled a glass of water for Hyojong who sat awkwardly on the couch. Huitaek brought it to him and sat down next to the trembling boy. Hyojong took the water and took a small sip.
