It was the next day. Huitaek was currently making his way to Jinho's house. As he walked he just tried not to think about Hyojong, but he couldn't. He couldn't get the boy out of his head, he made him feel happy and he didn't know why maybe he was in love with him.

Huitaek made it to Jinho's, almost surprised he didn't run into Hyojong at their corner. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

The small boy, known as Jinho, appeared in the doorway looking very tired.

"Are you okay Jino?" Huitaek asked as he entered the boy's house.

"No, I've been crying all night," Jinho said with a sigh.

"You've been crying?" Huitaek questioned with a bit of confusion.

"It's stupid stuff, sometimes you just need to cry your eyes out every once in awhile," Jinho said simply looking down at his toes, fiddling with his fingers.

"Jinho, I know you're lying, tell me what's wrong," Huitaek said, putting both hands on Jinho's shoulders looking down at the boy.

"Well, I told Hongseok that I wanted to be his boyfriend and he was like I want to be your's too, so we are offically dating but I went over to see Wooseok and told him about it and he got upset with me and now he won't talk to me," Jinho said trying his best not to cry about it again.

Huitaek just pulled him in for a hug.

"It's alright, I'm sure he'll forgive you, he loves you," Huitaek reasurred.

Jinho backed away, out of Hui's arms and smiled a bit at his friend.

"Thanks, Hui," Jinho said simply. "You always know what to say to me."

"Cause I'm your best friend," Huitaek said simply as he went to sit on the couch.

Jinho laughed a tiny bit under his breath before sitting on the couch next to Huitaek.

"Hey, how's the Hyojong situation?" Jinho asked with wide eyes.

"I don't really know," Huitaek said with furrowed eyebrows. "I kind of smoked weed with him and-"

"You smoked?!" Jinho questioned with shock.

"Yeah," Huitaek answered simply. "And we were cuddling in my bed afterward and I asked why he does like drugs and stuff and he told me it was his escape."

"That makes sense," Jinho said simply.

"But why does he need an escape, is his life really that bad?" Huitaek questioned with concern. The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to call Hyojong and check on him.

"Hui, is this really your business to be poking around in?" Jinho asked, he was worried about his friend. he's heard countless rumors about Hyojong and they were all terrible, he just didn't want Huitaek to go down a wrong path.

"It'll be fine, but I'm thinking I could find him a new escape, something not harmful," Huitaek said as he thought. "What about music, or art, or pet care?"

"Hui, can we not talk about Hyojong right now, I thought you came over to hang out," Jinho said, sounding a bit upset.

"Oh sorry, let's watch tv," Huitaek said as he grabbed the remote and turned the tv on. He couldn't help but continue to think about Hyojong though, it was so hard for him not to.

"Hyojong, have you seen my lucky tie anywhere?" his father asked as he came down the stairs buttoning his shirt up.

"No," Hyojong said simply as he flipped through channels on tv.

"I've got it, honey," Hyojong's mother said as she held the silk tie in her hands.

"Thank you, dear," his father said simply as he kissed her on the cheek.

Hyojong couldn't even see what was happening but he wanted to die. He hated how his parents still pretended to be in love. It's not like Hyojong would care if they got a divorce, he actually would like it more.

"Hyojong we'll be back tonight," his father called as he slipped his jacket on.

"Okay," Hyojong said softly.

His parents left and he was home alone once again. He shut off the tv as he felt the silence enter the room. It seemed like the house was completely empty. Hyojong closed his eyes as the nothingness swept over him, covering him like a blanket.

Suddenly, Hyojong's phone started to vibrate.

Hyojong was startled by it but he picked it up to see who was calling.

It was Ilhoon.

Hyojong took a deep breath, he didn't want to answer it, but he thought he should, so he did.

"H-hello?"

"I'm not mad but why did you leave?"

"Ilhoon let's be honest, you only wanted me back so you could fuck me again, you always said I was only good at making you cum. At first I thought you really did want me back but then when I saw you talking to me like you did before I knew things were just going to repeat itself, so I decided to leave, also I know you have a boyfriend and you're lucky I don't tell him you slept with me."

"But I don't get it. If you knew all this, why'd you still have sex with me?"

"One I was high and sometimes I get horny when I'm high and two it was an escape."

"You always use to say that when you were with me, I was an escape. Why?"

"You made me forget about real life and take me to another world full of no worries, maybe that's why I fell for you then."

"Well, if you want to do drugs with someone, give me a call."

"Thanks but I won't."

"Whatever you say Hyojong."

click.

Hyojong let out a sigh.

He was glad Ilhoon was out of his life. If he had stayed he'd probably die next month, but would that really be that bad?

Hyojong shook his head. He wanted Huitaek, he always felt calm and relaxed when he was with him, almost like he had smoked weed and was high on a trip but in reality, he'd be sober as hell, but when was he really ever sobber.

Hyojong combed his finger through his blonde hair as he thought about whether or not to call Huitaek, he decided to call him.
