A tiny child pulled at her mother's baggy pants pointing at her arm.

"Momma, what is this in my arm?" The little girl asked her mother, tilting her head in confusion.

The young girl's mother looked at the tiny finger pointing to the tattoo on her arm. It was a small palm tree, with a coconut resting in it's fronds. Among them read the words: 'Why are you so quiet?'

"That, my child, is the mark of your soulmate. Your tattoo matches your soulmates so you can be together when you find them," Her mother explained.

"It also holds your soulmates first words to you." Her mother further continued.

The child's face twisted and crossed her arms over her chest. "But Momma, I don't want a soulmate. I don't even know them!" The young girl complained.

Her mother almost dropped the plate she had.

"B-but darling, you need to find your soulmate."

"Momma they're a stranger! Stranger danger, Momma!" The ginger-headed girl whined.

Her mother had never heard of anyone not wanting a soulmate.

"Oh honey, you will think differently once you meet them." Her mother said. At least she hoped that her young daughter would change her mind.
