Like most love stories this sounds cliché or u realistic almost like it was straight out of a manga. But i assure you it is all true. Names have been changed to protect people’s identities as they are now and this is written 12 years after events conspired... All names except mine Robert and my wife Vicky. PLEASE DO NOT COPY AS THIS IS MY LIFE, copyright 2014 (c)
In the summer of 2002 (June to September) i had a crushing moment where i had to decide to believe of not believe the girl i had been dating for a couple of months, her name was Jessica, i had been told by a couple of people that she had cheated on me and even slept with this other boy (i was only 14 at the time and still a virgin) i wasn’t happy about this a broke up with her. Later i found out it was all true and spent my summer vacation from school in my bedroom or at the swimming pool.
In that time i reflected on what i thought love was, evil. Love to me was an emotion not needed if it was going to cause u pain and heartache. Then summer was over and in the September i started a new school year, and to everyone’s surprise there was a new girl in our year 10 assembly.
No one knew her name or what classes she was in. She was quite; shy, bashful and kinda cute, from the distance i saw her i couldn’t see too well what with my glasses and high prescription.
We all attended our classes straight after assembly, and set into our intellect groups ( groups bases on how you were able to process the information given to you and how you were able to feed that back... groups consisted of L I N C . L being the smartest of the lot and C the no hopers as the teachers called them.) Sadly she wasn’t in my group L for the first 2 subjects maths and English then after break suddenly there she was in my information technology class.
The teacher Mr Hilton, an asshole at the best of times who had a major god complex, droned on for abit about the lesson and i think for a few minutes myself before finishing and 2 other students had finished but there she was, the new girl, sat at her computer and had done nothing all lesson and looked like she didn’t understand a thing that was said.
The teacher was too busy flirting with and attempting to grope the leg of another female student to care about what the rest of the class was doing.
So i do what’s right, i go over and help her then introduce myself. "I’m Vicky" she says in a shy voice "thank you" with a smile on her face. This particular class was a double lesson meaning that straight after it was dinner, Vicky was closer to the class room door so was first to leave but got called back by the teacher, he said that she was in the wrong classroom she wasn’t meant to be in that group and actually called her an idiot!
I was waiting for her outside the classroom and heard everything, she came out crying and got down to the first of two levels of stairs where i stopped her and asked to take a look at her diary ( we are all given individual homework diaries for scheduling and a reminder of each class on each day including the class room number) and there it was, class ICT1 the very room we was in!
I ask if i could take her diary to the teacher and i would be back in a moment. I took it and showed the teacher, and he actually said " so, she is still an idiot, it may not say the right class room on here but she is not a member of this class or i would have seen her test results and since i didn’t then she doesn’t belong here" normally I’m the reserved don’t get into a fight guy (at this age anyway lol) but he needed telling.
"You’re the idiot! You stand in front of the class with a new student not on your register, and you carry on with the class rather then check to see if she was in the right class then while everyone was working, she was the only one needing help but you chose to sit next to, flirt with and try to touch up Sadie (name changed as not to upset actual person from these true events) all of us in class see you do it and if you don’t apologise to that girl at the bottom of the stairs outside, i will personally go straight to the headmaster and report you."
