chapter 14

Jesys POV

I had fun at Perries house and I think that Jade was much happier now that we had told Leigh and Perrie. I was now on my way home and was listening to my music in the car. I was thinking about Jade and how lucky I was to have such a beautiful and kind girlfriend. However my happy thoughts ended when I began thinking of the situation with Sam. It was his party on Monday and everyone was invited. He was having a disco in the local hall.

*next day*

I facetimed Jade on Sunday, asking her if she still wanted to go to sams party.

"oh'' she groaned, ''I had forgotten about that.''

"I guess we could still go'' I said, ''it will be a big disco that's full of people, so you probably won't have to speak to him.''

I wasn't really that pleased that we were going to his party, but typical Leigh didn't want to miss out and she wanted us to all go. She said that we could still have a good time and take advantage of all that free food and drink that would be on offer.

Sunday went quick and it was soon another Monday morning. I didn't want to get out of my warm bed, but had to because I had to go to school. I could hear my mum calling from downstairs, so I quickly put my uniform on and went downstairs to get my breakfast. It was a nice day and the weather was good. I knew that I was going to be late for school, so I didn't bother having a propper breakfast. I grabbed a cereal bar and threw the wrapper in the bin as I walked to answer the door, where Jade was waiting for me. It was now our usual routine that Jade came to knock for me before walking to school together. We were me at the gates by Leigh and Perrie.

By the end of the day, me and Jade were once again me at the school gates by Perrie and Leigh.

Jade's POV

We met Leigh and Perrie at the school gates because we were all going to Jesy's house to get ready for the party. It started a six, so we just hung out at Jesy's until it was time for us all to go.

"are you ok?'' asked Jesy, as we reached the hall. You could hear the beat of the loud music from down the road, so by the time we had got there, we could only just hear each other speak.

"yeah'' I replied, even though I was a bit nervous.

We walked into the room that was crammed full of people, to see a DJ and lots of lights that illuminated the dark room. As I thought she would, Leigh wandered strait over to the dance floor and left me, Jesy and Perrie talking. It wasn't long before Perrie spotted Zayn and walked over to him and his mates.

We could see her talking to him and smiling cutely. She spent the rest of her time at the disco with him, so it was now just me and Jesy. After that we went to join Leigh and have a dance. The night was going Ok until Sam came over to us.

"hey'' he said, standing close to me. I shifted away a bit before I replied.

"hi'' I said, not really looking a him.

"do you want to dance?'' he asked.

"I'm alright'' I said, moving further away as he spoke.

Sam frowned and made his way back over to the dance floor, where he started showing off his moves. It wasn't long before Jordan joined him, as they were in the same street dance crew.  I could see that Sam kept looking at me from where he was dancing, which made me feel uncomfortable. I think that Jesy could tell that I was feeling like this because she took my hand and led me out of the main hall. She took me to the area where everyone had hung their coats and turned me around so that I was facing her with both my hands in hers.

"what's wrong?'' she asked.

"he keeps looking at me'' I frowned. "I have already told him that I don't want to go out with him and he keeps doing it.''

"its fine'' said Jesy, looking into my eyes. "he will give up soon.'' she smoothed my hair down as she said this.

Jesy's POV

I could tell that Jade hated the way that Sam was looking at her. She was getting upset because Sam wouldn't take no for a answer at the minute, so I had to calm her down. I couldn't help but press my lips against hers and I instantly felt her relax as we deepened the kiss. We carried on kissing utill we heard a voice behind us.

"jade, what are you doing?'' we stopped kissing and turned around to see that Sam was looking at us, shocked.

"why are you kissing her ?"

He was getting more angry as he spoke and was beginning to shout.

me and Jade didn't say anything as we stood there just looking at him, also shocked.

"so, is that why you won't go out with me?'' he asked. "is it because your a lesbian and because your in love with her.'' He laughed a bit as he said that last bit.

"go away'' I said, glaring at him. He had a smug look on his face.

"fine then'' he said, ''I'll leave you two love birds alone.'' we could both tell that he was angry.

As soon as he walked away, we heard another familiar voice. We saw that Jordan was running away from Mia, the girl that he dumped me for. She was running after him and crying.

"wait, Jordan'' cried Mia, trying to catch up with him.

"I don't want to hear your excuses!'' yelled Jordan, clenching his fists as he began running towards the door.

"but I can explain!'' screamed Mia.

"I bet you can,'' replied Jordan sarcastically.

"I didn't mean to kiss Joe, it was a mistake, honest. I'm sorry'' Mia said, still crying.

"sorry you got caught'' replied Jordan before running further away and out of the door so that no one can see him. Mia now turned around so that she was facing me and glared at me before walking back into the main hall.

Jade's POV

"do you really think that they will break up?'' I asked, looking up at Jesy.

"don't know, don't care'' she replied looking down at me, as her heels were bigger than mine. "I'm just worried about what Sam is going to do.''

"do you think that he will tell anyone?'' I asked, getting worried that he would tell people before we are ready.

"I really don't know'' said Jesy, who also looked worried.

Jesy's POV

Now that Sam knew about me and Jade, I was worried that he would use it against us. He had always been homophobic and I knew that he would make no exceptions for me, who used to be his friend. Especially as I was going out with jade. We went back into the hall but Sam kept on glaring at Jade and me. We both felt uncomfortable so we went and told Perrie and Leigh that we were going, before we did. As we walked home we talked about the situation with Sam. We decided that we would tell people ourselves instead of letting Sam spread the news. We knew that he would tell people but we also knew that he would want to torment us with it for a while before he did. The only problem was that we were not ready for people to know yet.

I said goodbye to jade as I walked her to her door. I walked the rest of the way home, by myself.
