“Your going out again?” You asked Calum as he was getting his coat out of the closet. Calum was going to go clubbing with “lukey”…again. It’s not that you disliked Luke hemmings , its just that Calum always left to go hang out with him and his group of friends, leaving you alone in the flat.
He asked you to move in with him about a month ago, and he had been gone almost every night since then. He would always come staggering in in the early morning hours, usually around 2 or 3 and you were beginning to get tired of it.
“Yeah, Luke's  taking me to this club called The Nest.” He said, shrugging into his coat.

“Well, cant you stay home tonight?” You asked, attempting to get Calum to stay home with you. “I mean you work practically all day, what with rehearsals and interviews and your leaving to go on tour again in a few weeks and I just thought that you could take one night off from “Luke” and stay here with me.” You explained further trying to get him to see your side of things, standing up from the couch.
Apparently he didn’t. “When I’m on the road, I don’t have a lot of time to see my friends. I just want to spend some time with them before I go. I didn’t think it was a big deal, Y/N.” He said a little to harshly.
You really hadn’t been all that angry, until this point. “When your on the road,” You started in a mocking tone, using the sentence he had started with. “You don’t have a lot of time to see me either."

“We live together!” He practically shouted, throwing his hands up in the air.
“And how often do you see me, Calum? How often do you actually sit down and talk to me?” You asked. It was a pretty valid question. “You basically say ‘hi’ to me in the morning and then leave. Say ‘hi’ when you get home, and then leave again! I didn’t know that it was such a hardship to spend some time with your girlfriend.”
“And I didn’t know that when I asked your to move in, you would get so clingy! Just stop being a bitch, and let me enjoy my night.”
Okay, that hurt. You took a step back and just looked at him. Usually when Calum came home drunk after a night out with Luke, he would say all kinds of things. Some not so nice, but you dismissed them because he was drunk. This time, he wasn’t. He hadn’t left yet. He had no excuse.
You just slowly shook your head and said “Yeah, you know what? Enjoy your night. Sorry to be such a bother.” In a quiet voice. You turned around and began to walk up the stairs to your room.
 “Look, Y/N, I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean that.”
You turned around and gave him your best watery smile. You stuck your hand up, signaling him to stop. “No, its fine. Have a good time. You said and continued up the stairs and into your shared room.
Calum obviously took that as a sign to leave because moments later you hear the door shut. With tears freely streaming down your face, you packed an overnight bag and decided to go stay with one of your friends who lived a few blocks away.
You grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and sat down. You began writing:

Dear Calum,
I know that being called a bitch is no reason for someone to leave, but this has been building up ever since I decided to move in with you and I think we both know that. I’m sorry that No I’m not sorry. I’m not sorry that I wanted to spend time with my boyfriend. If that makes me clingy, then so be it. I love you Calum, but this just isn’t working out. It hasn’t for a while now. So, I’ve decided to leave and stay with a friend. I’ll be round in a couple of days to get my stuff. I hope you had fun tonight
Y/n
