I wanted to make a contest where someone could submit a chapter and name the next character. What they didn't realize was that I had already named the character. "You're with him!" Yelled Daniel." He probably works for Menacca. " (God I hate that name)
The man pulled out two knives and held them to Daniel's neck. "He's a member of the rebellion like me." Said Alexis and everyone seemed to calm down. (1. That's like fantasy-sci-fi trope number 303038373732829292828 in this story so far. 2. Who just believes someone like that! He has a knife to your throat!)
As soon as she saw the prison Lauren had a plan. (Wow that was fast. You know, sometimes I'm just blown away, by all he beautiful writing in the world, and how terrible mine was...such beauty) She and Jacob (Who's Jacob? Oh the King. Sorry he's just so forgettable in every way) would knock out the guard and open the doors. Mason and Daniel would distract the other prisoners while Alexis and Bianca set the princess free. (Did I ever actually explain why the princess is in jail? Or that the princess was in jail in the first place? They just kinda said "Alright time to go to the jail. " Maybe past me took the show don't tell comment too seriously) Finally Lauren and Jacob's remaining guard would take on menacca. She didn't want Bianca to get hurt. (Never mind. Also, what an awkward way to put that on there. Was I even thinking?) She told the team the whole plan and they split up.
As soon as Lauren and Jacob walked up to the guard they spotted a problem in Lauren's plan. The sleeping guard wasn't just any guard. "It's a wolf. " said Jacob. (I guess that's a thing now. Okay)
