Our Adventures ~ Rick

When I heard Morty scream last night I knew something was wrong so like a responsible adult I went to see if he was okay.
"M-uuurrrp- Morty what's wrong?"  He was crying and I was worried. He was my only grandson after all. 

*next morning*

I wake up in Morty's bed. I guess I fell asleep in here last night.
"Oh you're awake" I look down at Morty as I talk. You can still see the tear stains on his cheeks.
"Y-yeah are we going on an adventure today?" He stuttered out. He's so awkward...how in the hell does he survive in the real world? Yeah I burp a lot but i'm the smartest being in the world I don't give a fuck about anyone else. Morty is Sensitive... Anyway back to what's happening. I shrug and look at Morty
"We might" I stare at him for a minute before getting up.  
"Go eat breakfast kid you'll need it if we go on an adventure" I watch him walk away and hum something and sigh going to the garage if they need me they know where to find me. I think today I'll let Morty pick the adventure. 

*Le Time skip to after Morty comes out of the bathroom after the encounter with King Jellybean*

Morty comes out of the bathroom crying and shaking. "R-Rick? C-can we go home now? T-The adventure is over.." I wonder what happened, why he changed his mind about this...
"M-uuuurg-Morty what happened?" He cries more.
"N-Nothing Rick. I-I just C-changed my mind about this..."  I was worried. Not once had Morty acted like this on an adventure. I watched that creepy Jellybean come out of the bathroom that Morty was in and I knew something was wrong. Of course that didn't mean I would let Morty quit this.
"N-No we-uuurg-we're going to finish this M-Morty. We came this far. I'd h-uuurg-ardly call this an adventure." He just looks terrified.
"O-okay..." He seems shaken up and i blame that Jellybean.

*le time skip to the end of the adventure*

I watch as Morty gives the townfolk their money.
"H-here is all of the money that is rightfully y-yours!" He smiles and so do I because it's the first time he smiled on this adventure. Before we leave I open the portal for Morty then I kill that Jellybean. That fuck fucked with my grandson. When we get home I ask Morty what the fuck happened. He lied to me but the truth will come out eventually. I just gave up trying to get the truth and hide in the garage. As I was working on an invention Morty walks in.
"R-Rick? D-Did you kill the J-Jellybean king?" I guess the little shit didn't see. Well damn I wanted him to see that.
"I did. I k-know you lied about what happened M-uuuurrg-orty. I knew something was off about him too. L-uuurg-like that weird statue of him a-and that kid." He looks down and runs into the house. I sigh and let him go I'll talk to him about it later. After dinner as I'm laying in my room. I hear Morty sniffling and I get worried. But he's fine right? Right? I fall asleep and Morty. Morty screams and I'm up and in his room quicker than a fucking bullet.
"M-Morty?" He's shaking I run to him trying to wake him.
"R-Rick? What are y-you doing?" He looks confused.
"Y-you screamed I-I thought something was wrong." I look at him concerned. He just looks at me confused before sighing and begins to tell me what Really happened in that bathroom. I just hold onto him. Something feels different about this time though. I feel closer to him after this...I look down and Morty is asleep he's laying on me so I'm stuck in here for the night. I don't mind it. I for some reason really like being close to Morty like this. It feels wrong though. The next morning when I finally wake up Morty is just staring at me but not creepily. Just curiously?
"R-Rick. Y-you stayed..."
"Of co-uuurg-urse I did. Why wouldn't I?" Morty just looks at me. And slowly leans closer to me and Kisses me?!
