Either Way

Hi?

Beam still hasn't opened his eyes. Until the figure begins to talk to him again.

"Do you want to stay here forever?" said the owner of the voice, and there was a seductive note there.

Beam still not moving, he was afraid he would faint after opening his eyes.

"I won't kill you, I just want to talk" said the figure, as if he could understand what Beam was feeling.

"Come on, open your eyes?"

Beam bit his bottom lip, he still didn't dare but he also can't forever just be silent like that.

So he slowly opened his eyes again. The first sight that greeted him was a pair of arms wrapped around his body.

"Look up, look at me" asked the figure. He wanted Beam to look up and look at him.

Beam was slowly moving his head, he looked up with eyes still half closed.

What he saw as he looked up, made him frozen in awe. Suddenly he wasn't afraid anymore.

The figure of the man who helped embrace his body so as not to fall to the floor, doesn't have a scary look like a ghost in general. He hadn't realized this before because of his fear.

The man has a handsome face and a charming smile. He was smiling broadly, looking at Beam.

"Hi," the man said as Beam's eyes were fully open.

"I hope I don't make you feel scared again."

Beam's reflex shook his head slowly. He still loses his ability to talk, but this time is for another reason.

"My name is Forth. What's your name?"

As if an introduction is a natural thing between the two beings who live in a different world, Beam also introduced himself when asked what his name was.

"Beam"

"Beam?" The figure repeats Beam's remark, make sure again that it's the name of the young man in his arms.

Again Beam just nodded before he realized that his position was still in Forth's arms. He hurriedly backed away and straightened himself, only then he could see Forth clearly.

"Are you a ghost?" the question immediately slid out of his lips without being prevented.

Forth doesn't look like a creepy evil ghost. He looks very handsome, and charming. But the question seems funny to Forth, because the man chuckled softly.

Beam swore he had never heard a sound like a Forth sound. His voice can make anyone amazed.

"I just popped in here and caught you in a moment, so what do you think?"

"I don't know." Beam shrugged his shoulders, now no longer feeling afraid.

Forth looked at him closely, making Beam feel uncomfortable.

"Looks like you're not afraid of me anymore."

The revelation that Forth had just uttered made Beam's ears red, just as he had been caught doing the wrong thing.

"You no longer look scary." Beam said, affirming the statement.

Forth smiled happily at the words Beam speaks. He folded his arms across his chest and leaned closer to Beam.

"Is it true?"

Beam's brow furrowed at Forth's face that is now not far from his face. He could see clearly his two beautiful glowing black eyeballs, and also how long is his eyelashes ... Wait, why did he even praise Forth's appearance?

"I didn't say you could approach me." Beam takes a step back, keeping his distance from the man.

Forth looks as if he's about to reply to Beam's words, but there's something else that keeps him from doing so.

His gaze was fixed forwards, past Beam's head and his expression hardened. Beam is starting to feel that there is something going on and want to see it by himself, but Forth swiftly grasped both Beam's shoulders and prevented him from turning around.

"No. You have to get out of here now." Forth said in a tone that didn't want to be debated.

"What?" Beam asked confusedly.

"It's okay, it's just that you should get out of here right away."

Forth pulled both corners of his lips into a smile and tried to convince Beam that it was a good option to do right now.

Beam looked intently at his face and didn't budge. Forth seemed to feel uneasy and suddenly he just disappeared in front of Beam, only to reappear behind Beam's body and push the body of Beam to move forward.

"You heard what I was saying, you got here and already got the things that you left behind, so get out of here and go home."

Feeling bewildered by Forth's behavior, Beam was about to ask another question. But when he looked back Forth was not there and he could only hear his voice saying, "Nice to meet you Beam, we'll meet again next time."

Where did Forth go?
