Passing time

I sat quietly at school waiting for us too be dismissed. I impatiently waited until mr. Rener let us go, I sprinted down the hall and out the school. I need too pick up holly at 2:47 it's 2:23 now, Mary needs too be picked up at 3:15 from daycare. I run too the elementary school 2 blocks away getting there early I sit down in the concrete ground and a nazi walks past me with a discussed face "jüdisches Schwein" he said walking past me look at my Star of David sown into my shirt I put my head down panting. ( jüdisches Schwein means Jewish pig in German) I hear a small voice of my 7 year old sister running too me "James!!!" I get up and smile and she runs too me faster backpack hitting her ankles I giggle and pick her up and kiss her cheek."Hi holly hamster, how was your day sweet girl" I look at her and lightly squeeze her cheeks together and she laughs "I gotta boyfrienddd" I laugh and look at her"oh really" she nods "and he's cuteee" I laugh and walk too the daycare she fell asleep on me her long curly brown hair tied up in piggy tails bouncing off of her back as I step and kiss her head hiding our stars knowing stares and nazis passing will say things.

I waked home after picking up my three year old sister Mary from daycare. About 3 blocks from our house our cousin Micheal taking Mary and holly home I attend to my work. I stead and smuggle people out of the country with a false identity. Henry Monder age 26. I put on my costume and walk around faking who I am. I grab a basket of fruits and vegetables and run man calling too the nazi's too get me. I ran faster then most people till I got home my little sisters playing with dolls in the yard I take of my costume. "I got us dinner!!" Holly smiles with her front teeth missing and I giggle walking inside holding the food. "Mama, papa!! I got dinner!" Mama comes out and smiles wide "James your such a big help thank you" I hugged her "anything for my family" I start cutting up the fruits and veggies to make a stew. I put it in bowls and brought it too the table. Mary came running in and tripped I picked he up and she cried "Mary what happened" she held onto me "hoply anf I Was runninh and I tripped on the rug" I rubbed her head "it's gonna be ok calm down " I said and rocked her and sat her in her chair and went too pickup Adam in his crib by the window when a nazi stared at me I panicked and grabbed him going back to the table and feeding him. I looked at my mama "I'm getting you guys out of here" she looked at me shocked "what?!" Tonight I'm getting you on a boat to American before it's too late" she sighed "what about you James your coming with us right?" I shake my head "no" holly beat her fist down"I'm not going with out James!!" Mary looked at her"me too!!" I sighed "guys I'll be already I'll get too you after the wars over" mama nodded "girls it's the best option" I nodded "listen too mama" they cried and I felt bad."in sorry I just want you guys safe you know I will be too"  I got up and took the bowls after the finished and washed them. I walked outside and pulled out a cigarette walking down the road smoking it. The boat leaves in 1 hour they packed while I washed I walked back and blew a few more puffs before throwing it out and puffing the smoke out of my mouth. I go home and get my family rounded up. " I love you guys" hugging them tightly " you guys will be safe I promise we can get through this" I pick up Mary and holly " you girls are the best sisters I could ever ask for" I look at mama and Adam "the best mom and brother in the world" they cried and I hugged them once more setting down Mary and holly "run down the the boat go now or you won't make it" they ran with there luggage and onto the boat I cried and held my arms around myself.

I was woken up too a nazi grabbing me "wake up jüdisches Schwein!!!" I gasp and they pull me out and shove me onto the cattle car and me falling on a nazi guard "watch it" he screamed falling and I looked at him "I-I-I'm sorry" he smiled softly "it's ok" getting up and he helped me up. I blush and rush to the back of the cart and sat there.who was he? Why did he help me? I sigh and a man ran into my I pushed him off "get off of me!" I screamed he punched me in the face and looked at me "don't talk to me that way!" I gulp "im sorry"  he kicked me in the face and pulled my brown hair and pulled it up to him seeing his face he punched me again and my nose and mouth bled. He knocked me out and I woke up on the side of the road and that nazi was over me "are you ok" I nod "yes.." he picked me up and put me back in the cart "who the fuck did it!" He yelled at us a tall man came up "I did" the man with blond hair I saw beat me the nazi pushed him out of the cart and shot him. I jumped and he grinned looking at me and winked I felt so awkward he was tall,strong and has straight hair falling over his eyes,his eyes were blue and he had freckles  I had curly brown hair,green eyes, I was short, not very strong and very thin. I looked around and the cart moved and I fell.
