Evangelyne

"Where are you going?" Sinbad asked behind me as he spun around in my desk chair. I chuckled as I put my papers in my satchel and went back to my closet to grab a dress and a pair of outside clothes. "The Ancient Forest. I am needed tomorrow. I wish I had know she would have said yes, then I would have been ready sooner." I sighed before equipping into my battle armor. Sinbad's face light up with a light pink before looking outside.

"Will you be needing that armor?"

"Oh yes. There's a giant serpent I need to kill plus two-" I paused at Sinbad's pale face.

I let out a nervous chuckle before crouching down to see his shimmering golden eyes. Grabbing his cheeks I gave him a light kiss and smiled.

"It's ok. I'll be fine, I've done this before!" I exclaimed.

Sinbad gave a small smile before leaning his forehead against mine. "Be careful, please?" He asked, intertwining his hands with mine.  I laughed and rubbed our nose together lovingly. "Of course. Now let's go to the magic circle."

"Are you ready?" Yamriha asked through the barrier as she watched me change into my battle position.

"Open it up!" I ordered, my bow readied with the arrows at the string. Nodding Yamriha opened the magic circle to the Ancient Forest. Instantly, I dodged the fire that shot from it, letting it bounce off the barrier. "Over here big guy!" I growled shooting my arrows at the dragon before jumping through the magic circle, tumbling in. I looked at the rukh before quickly turning around with a smile.

"Sorry about this.."

Yamriha

I watched as she shattered eye of the rukh and throwing it back on the other side. My eyes widen.

"WAIT DON-" It was too late. Out of nowhere, she cast the light dagger spell and destroyed the connection.

"Evangelyne!" Everyone shouted as the barrier came down.

The first ones to run in there were Sinbad and Ja'far who instantly ran towards the magic circle ran towards the magic circle, that was crumbled into pieces. Sinbad picked up a piece of the shattered eye as Ja'far turned towards me with a panicked look. "When can we get this back up and working!?" He quickly asked.

I stood baffled and let out a scream. "I don't know! This never happened before!! I-" Everyone began to panic, that is, until Sinbad stood up with his hair covering his face. Everyone stood silent and still.

"Yam find another portal to enter the forest. I'm gonna have a little chat with her." Sinbad looked up with a dark and serious face that was mixed with anger.

I collapsed on my back, breathing heavily. Finally, I made it through! Suddenly a feminine giggle ran through the forest.

"I see that you finally made it Evangelyne? You took your time."

I paled before looking up, staring at Evermore herself. I scrambled quickly back to my feet and curtsyed.

"H-Hello again your majesty! Good to see you again!" I squeaked.

So embarrassing. Evermore chuckled before brushing a silver stand of hair behind her ear. "Same as to you fair Eve. Let us take return back to the castle shall we?" She said. I nodded and changed into my forest wear. A simple white sleeve dress that slit at my sides. I sighed with a weak smile.

"Yes, we shall."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

I floated in my seat with the files on the elegant marble table. I am a spirit. Here in Evermore's castle, if your dead, you will become a ghost or spirit in the forest. I'm a spirit so lucky for me, I can touch living things. Outside the castle I return to my normal state. Evermore slid the tea across the table. Thanking her, I sipped quietly on it and sighed happily. "I needed that indeed princess, thank you...now," I paused, my face turning serious. "The papers." Grabbing my bag, I pulled out the files and books. I suddenly noticed that my journal wasn't there. oh no I-

Sinbad

"Sinbad pay attention!" Ja'far growled.

I whined, if only Eve was here! I furrowed my eyebrows in anger. She did it on purpose. Is there no magic tools in the forest? Can you not bring magic with you? I sighed before finishing my last paper in relief. Ja'far seemed a bit pleased as he looked out the window.

"Have you heard back from Yamriha?" I asked, standing up.

Ja'far frowned, "No I haven't, maybe when Eva severed the connection between the magic circle, she must have broken it for good."

I slammed my hands on my desk and let out a loud roar. Ja'far stood staring at me before exiting the room. Standing there, I tossed the papers off my desk and let out another roar before falling on my knees with bloody fist. Evangelyne, Evangelyne. Why did you do it? Why did you break the circle? How did you cast magic? So many thoughts are running through my head it hurts. Resting my head on the bridge of my desk, I sat there for a bit before looking through the window.

"What else are you hiding Evangelyne?"

My heart stopped as my eyes widen, her room.

Jumping to my feet, I swiftly rushed out of my office and towards Eve's room. She has to have something in her room!
