-Kevin's POV-
I finish my homework. It was some easy Math homework. I walk over to my closet. I grab a black hoodie, some jeans, and I grab a pair of sneakers.
I start to change removing each piece of clothing and putting on new ones. I finally finish getting dressed when I see an alert pop up.
"Killer Running Around Park Jefferson"
Crap! I have to meet Megan there. I hope she's oka-.
I pause and see I got an message on my phone.
Megan: Hey let's meet at Bunbucks instead. Don't feel like getting killed tonight.
Me: Yeah same. Ok I'll see you there
Ok she knows about the killer. Hopefully, we'll be safe at Bunbucks. I slip on my shoes and head to the door. I yell to my mom I'll be leaving. She just responds with a "Ok." I grab my keys and walk out. I get into my car and drive. I glance at the seat next to me and tear up.
My dad used to sit in that spot. Tears quickly run down my face. He's really gone.
I turn on my radio and drive. I arrive on time before Megan. I walk in and see tons of people. Drinking coffees and teas. I walk to the counter where I get welcome.
Worker: Hello and welcome to Bunbucks. What may I get you?
Me: I'll take a vanilla bean.
I hand her the money and sit and wait. I start scrolling on Twitter. Seeing post about people's cats and other assortment of things. When Megan walks in and sits by me.
Megan: Heyyyy.
Me: Yooo.
Megan: Ok we can talk after I order.
She says as she walks away. I see her order a caramel frapachinu. She then walks back and sits down.
Megan: Sooo wazzup!
Me: Oh, so um... I don't know how to say this.... My parents divorced...
Her happy tone turns to a serious one. Her smile turned to a frown. I could tell she was listening
Megan: Holy shit. Are you ok? I'm so sorry. I can see why you wanted to talk at the park. It's more private.
Me: Yeah, but people here are chill. Also, yes I'm fine. It was a lot to process then. But now I'm good. Honestly, my dad was abusive. But I loved him to much to call COS.
Megan: Yeah, it sucks that divorce is shunned apon. Good thing we have each other.
We keep talking. I get out drinks and then I tell her more about what happened.
As we start walking out we hug and she leave while I stand there. A girl walking by bumps into me.
Girl: Oh my god I'm sorry.
Me: It's ok. I was in the way. Uhm, hi I'm Kevin.
Girl: Hi I'm Lisie Martinez.
Her hair straight and with a beanie on top. She had a Vans shirt on. It was a basic black one that had Vans in white. Some black jeans and Converse hightops. She had a backpack on with a black skateboard connct.
I start brushing. She is beautiful.
Me: Hey, so wanna talk more?
Lisie: Sure. I can't talk right now, since I have to buy Bunbucks and head home but here's my number.
She asked for my phone and inserts her number. I then get hers and add mine in. I didn't add a name so she can put it in. But she did for my phone. She put "Lis💜".
I walk out of the Bunberks and into my car. I pull my phone out and call my friend, Tommy. We met online, so I call him Flame. I tell him meet me at my home. Flame had been my best friend for 3 years. I knew I could trust him with my divorce family, and with what to do about that skater girl.
I start driving home. It was a good day. After the whole divorce news. I get home and wait for my friend Flame.
