I know I have no reason to be, but I was depressed for the rest of the day. I had my head down every single minute and, let me tell you, nobody even cared, not even the teachers.

When I finally got home, I blasted my iPod and listened to My Chemical Romance, David Archuleta, Atreyu, and Trapt. I plopped down onto the couch and drifted to sleep...

Okay, so I knew what was going to happen since it was the same dream, in the beginning, but it took me by surprise. Here is how it went:

Rick and I were walking down the beach and then a trench appeared in front of us. Rick falls down, but instead of Elethen coming out, I was sucked into it. I clawed at the jagged rock as fast as I could. Then the rock cut through my skin and muscles and then my veins right after. My hands were all bloody and it seemed to take course around my entire body, covering every single inch of it. I started to feint into the deep, dark chasm.

When I woke into consciousness, I found myself underwater. I was ocean blue and everything was peaceful, but, just then, a Great White shark was swimming closer with its mouth wide open, about to rip my head off and then---

     "SEPHERA!"

Ugh. There's my own personal evil, wicked witch of the west. My stepmother. Oh joy.

I groggily arose from the couch and went to the sound of her voice. "What, loco Diablo?" The reason I call her "crazy Devil" is because she treats me like Cinderella, and not the nice way either.

Maybe I should elaborate on her. You know, she "says" that she lived in a cardboard box all her life and that's she's so lucky that she found someone as "loving and caring" as my father, but I did a little research on her since I had quite a strong feeling she was faking. She lived in Los Angeles in a three-story mansion with all the money in the world. Her parents were apparently the leaders of a computer program or something.

Why would she marry my dad? No clue, but I tend to find out. So now she's Mrs. Linda Linera and she's making my life a living hell, literally.

"I told you not to call me that," the she-devil scolded.

"Oh, really?" I said, "All I hear from you is blah, blah, blah." Okay, maybe I'm not the smartest pea in the pod.

"I don't have to take this, young lady!" Oh. My. God.

"Please! You just think you're ALL that ever since you married my dad! We all know you were really rich and you NEVER wanted to marry him! I bet you married him because your parents approve of him and not the scumbag who even let you do this you really find so irresistible! I bet you never even go to work! You go to see HIM, don't you?"

She was silent for about five minutes as we stared each other down.

Finally she said, "Do not tell your father about this or we'll have some serious problems." And I knew I found out the truth.

It was about 5:00 P.M. when I decided to go outside to walk for a while. I brought my iPod with me and started out.

I kept seeing missing pet signs everywhere. One was for Boogie (weird name, but okay) and the reward was $100. Another was for Lerida and the reward was $500. I was about to read another one right when I was snatched into a dark alley. I got so scared that I started to think of various death sentences for me. The one at the very top of my list was being jumped right here and now. I could smell the car exhaust, see the shadows, see ghosts watching me from above. I got so scared that I bit the person's hand and ran away, but not before he grabbed me.

"Ah, crap! I'm too slow!" I muttered underneath my breath. To my surprise, the person just handed me a note and walked away, rubbing his hand intently. The note said:

                                                                                                                                 In order to find,

You must come to the land where it rains,

                                                                                                                              Together we bind.

I had no idea what it meant, but I didn't care. I folded up the note and put it in my pocket. This was a very awkward experience.

When I got home my evil stepmother wasn't home. Thank God! She was a real pain in the neck, at least to everyone but my dad and her "lover." Me and my dad played a lot of family games, as we had boring family meeting in the past and we haven't had so much fun in ages!

When I went to bed, I couldn't fall asleep, so I read Twilight and listened to my music until I drifted to sleep...
