After I woke up the next day, the entire day seemed to drag on. All I could think about was that dreaded note. What does it mean? What is meant by “the land where it rains”? Too many questions were swirling around in my head today.

I was in deep thought thinking about that note, where it came from, and why it was given to me. Hell. Who was the dude I bit anyway? Why did he pull me into an alleyway? What is with the note? Was it for a friend; himself; a bunny? I don’t know. “In order to find.” I know what that means. Just to find him or her or it. “You must come to the land where it rains.” What does that mean? Go to the rainforest? “Together we bind.” Bind with who? Wouldn’t someone really want to be with me? Wait… What if the person is---?

“Sephera!” Maggie grabbed me just as I was going to unintentionally fall off a cliff.

“Wait. What!?” I yelled. Then I looked down at the jagged rocks and screamed as I ran to Maggie, clinging to her.

“Were you even paying attention to where you were going? You could’ve gotten yourself killed!”

“I-I know… It’s just that… There’s been so much going on with my family and friends and everything… That I guess I was completely zoned out…”

“Let’s get you away from the cliff.” Maggie said reassuringly.
